We love Camp Lucky! When we decided to get a dog we knew from the start we wanted to work with a trainer. We did the puppy lessons and the 2 week board and train. The puppy lessons were so helpful in setting the ground work with our puppy. Jessie was great and we knew she would be in good hands during the board and train. She’s been home for one week, and I’m beyond impressed with how well she is doing and continues to do. I can’t recommend Camp Lucky enough. It will make your entire puppy experience so much better. You will have the tools to build a strong relationship with your dog! Thank you from Lucy and all the Hogans!

Jessie is incredible, miracle worker if I must say! We have two CRAZY doodles that didn’t listen even for treats. We did the two week obedience board and train and I picked up different dogs! They had their same energetic personalities but LISTENED! My giant doodle (110lb) made me nervous to go on walks because he pulled, jumped, and got excited when people walked by. Now, he can roam off leash beside me and listen to every command on our walks. Dinners are a breeze, they now have a “place” and when we need to eat dinner, leave the door open to bring in groceries, they sit still and just wait to be released. I often get asked if it was worth it, and 1000% it was worth it. My family has noticed a huge difference in their obedience and we thank Jessie for that, and all he has done to help my dogs be the best versions of themselves!

Camp Lucky and our trainer, Jessie, have made a huge difference in our dog, Frank's, behavior. He struggled to behave around other dogs and did not recall well. The training has been a real game changer for our family. Frank is now calm around other dogs and very well behaved. He takes all commands instantly. I would highly recommend Camp Lucky. Well worth the investment in our fine Doverman.

Our family adopted Nova from the local Humane Society in 2023. We’d lost our former family dogs of 10+ years to old age and felt we were ready and capable of adopting/training a new canine family member. I learned two things very quickly: 1) Nova was half Malinois. 2) I knew absolutely nothing about Malinois behaviors, or how to work with one. I’ve never been the type of person to “re-home” a dog once adopted, but after her first two weeks I was honestly at my wits end about what else to do. I am genuinely thankful each and every day that my wife contacted Camp Lucky. Jessie came out to our home himself to visit and observe Nova in her home environment and he was very clear with regard to training and boarding options. It never felt like we were receiving an “up-sell.” He was genuinely passionate about giving our family the best possible bonding outcome with Nova. We initially chose an in-home training experience that would occur on a weekly basis. Jessie and his staff immediately developed a rapport with our dog and, perhaps more importantly, our family. It’s been my experience that half of all dog training is actually training *people* to understand and handle their dog effectively and Camp Lucky has been peerless on both counts. We followed Nova’s training program to the letter and were seeing immediate results—not just with her obedience, but with the overall positive experience of our new extended family. And then a family tragedy occurred that required us to leave the state for over a month. Jessie was extremely helpful at a very difficult time for our family. He went out of his way to collect Nova for boarding and the continuation of her training program. I don’t think our family would have been able to leave Nova in the care of anyone else at that point. She came back to us the following month and it was immediately clear that she’d been well-cared for and stimulated physically and mentally the entire time. We have continued Nova’s private and public-access training for close to 600 hours now. She’s well on her way to being evaluated as a legitimate behavioral service dog. We get constant compliments in public for her behavior and obedience. The neighborhood kids love to see her out on walks and get the chance to give her a training treat for good behavior. I have personally never been more in-sync with a dog in my whole life of being a dog owner and none of that would be possible without Jessie and the amazing people at Camp Lucky. I cannot recommend them strongly enough if you want to improve the lives of your dog and your family in any way.

I recently had the pleasure of working with jessie at camp lucky to train my energetic and stubborn Cane Corso. I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the results and the overall experience. I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Jessie took the time to listen to my concerns and understand my dog's specific needs. Their knowledge and expertise were evident right from the start. Throughout the training they sent us report cards which and much more which displayed a remarkable level of professionalism.
