I can’t recommend Campfire Music Collective more highly. I had been trying to teach myself guitar using apps at home and finally decided to try lessons. Angie and Marcus are incredibly supportive and being part of an adult learner community is wonderful. I have made more progress in the last two months than in the last two years in my own. The lessons and campfires are the highlight of my week.

I recently completed my first season with Angie and Marcus and I can’t emphasize enough how enjoyable it was. The teaching format is amazing with a mix of online tutorials, one on one and group learning you get such a great mix of instruction. It’s a really fun and low key way to learn playing an instrument. They are extremely knowledgeable, flexible, and downright delightful humans to be around. My experience is so drastically different from the way I was taught as a kid (thank heavens) and I just can’t sing their praises enough.

I cannot express just how much we love making music with Marcus and Angie and the whole crew! My daughter and I started taking lessons this year and we were both absolute beginners. We both felt a little nervous about being too new to making music to be able to play with the group but somehow, what feels like magically, we did it. The way Marcus and Angie approach teaching and making music makes it fun, engaging, and inspiring. My daughter walked out of our first lesson and said “mom, that was actually fun!” I am so appreciative of their program and how it has helped make music a fun family activity. Whenever my daughter has a spare minute I’ll hear the piano going and realize she sat down to practice, create, or just play around with music, and that’s all we’ve ever wanted. I cannot recommend them enough 💜

Campfire Collective, run by the amazing and talented duo Angie and Marcus, is so much more than just an easy-to-follow and fun music lesson program! From the moment you join, you feel incredibly welcomed, and there's a genuine family feel to the collective. There's a strong sense of community, and it's wonderful to meet fellow participants who are invariably super cool and kind people. The song selection is fantastic, and the added guidance for purchasing and maintaining instruments along with other 'pro-tips' is a huge bonus. I've never enjoyed playing music more than I have participating in the Campfire Collective. Highly recommend!

What an accessible and rewarding way to learn how to play music! My family and I have had a great time with Angie and Marcus and the informal group approach has really helped keep my kids interested while inspiring them to keep going with an instrument. This is how all people should learn how to play!
