Canyon Lake Adventures canceled on me last minute and didn’t notify me at all. I was stuck waiting at the boat ramp with my family. Once I called they told me they had issues out of their control. Ruined a big part of our vacation that we had all planned out for months.

We have always enjoyed renting from this company, we go about 2x a year. Never had any issues at all. However, this year, Ig something changed and they contracted out due to the water levels being low. Which wouldn't normally be a big deal, however, we were notified of this until the day before and the other company FloLife, charged about $400 more, with a forced $200 tip. This would have been fine, had we known in advance and been prepared to pay the extra money. Then disaster struck, we had scheduled outing 7/5, but Flo Life cancelled the trip due to safety. We agreed, and decided to just cancel, he said he would refund me. He said he would refund me no later than Monday. Monday came and went, nothing. Then he said Wednesday I would have my $500 (he forced us to prepay or we lost the spot) Then he said he would check with his office staff but it wouldn't take longer than 10 business days (keep in mind, Zelle takes 2 minutes to send) and then I just stopped getting a response from him. his last text to me "I will send it from my personal account if you do not get it Monday- now my number is blocked. I know that CLA is not responsible, however, I wanted to let people know before they book with this place as your boat will more than likely be contracted out w/no prior knowledge. FloLife does NOT honor your agreement with this company. (We were going to Canyon Lake specifically for this boat outing and the AirBNB was already booked and paid, or we would have cancelled. Do NOT ever book with FLO life and be very careful when booking with CanyonLake Adventures. I am not sure what happened, but it seems very scammy to me. I can upload proof the texts of refund promises.

We had an amazing time on the pontoon boat with Capt Nathan! There were 15 of us on the boat- 5 kids and 10 adults and we fit comfortably. All of us, especially the kids, had a blast on the slide and lily pad. The boat was very nice, safe and well equipped with life jackets for all the kids. Capt Nathan was very accommodating, laid back and felt like an old friend by the end of our boat ride. We highly recommended!

Zach was amazing we didn’t know to look at weather before booking and had to cancel on Saturday ,the next day my family decided to stay and we wanted to go fishing,so we called him up hoping he can still honor the deal we had Saturday. And guess what HE DID!!!! even gave us extra time, we will definitely be booking with this family owned business again very respectful and accommodating. Thanks zack

Read some bad reviews but decided to give Canyon Lake Adventures a chance . I have to say that Zack far exceeded my expectations. He was awesome and the 22" pontoon came equipped with large mat and the tube with rope. My advice is don't miss out on a great deal because of someone elses bad experience, give them a try I'm sure you will be very happy with their services.Five stars for awesome low prices and great service, well desererved ! Thanks for a great experience Zack we will be back 👍✌
