I joined Capital Athletic Club March of 2025. Never have I seen this place trashed, filthy or un-maintained. The staff is always friendly and attentive to customers needs. Everyone knows you can not make everyone happy all off the time. Don’t take the pessimistic opinion of one person. Check it out yourself and form your own opinion. There is always a negative Nancy that has to pop their heads up. Capital is a great fitness club for a great membership fee. Great staff. I recommend Capital Athletic Club to anyone looking for a home for your fitness needs.
Capital Athletic Club is an amazing gym with top-quality equipment, plenty of space, and a motivating atmosphere. Whether you’re a beginner or serious about training, it’s a great place to workout!!! Friendly staff and a amazing personal trainer!
Don’t count on this place to actually be open on time every morning like they’re suppose to. There has been too many times where myself among many others sit there for an hour after opening time and nobody shows up. Along with the fact that there hot tub and saunas always seem to be having issues. This place is completely unreliable and overpriced. The locker rooms are always filthy and the drains never properly screwed on. People at the front desk are just always on their phones. Our kid was getting mistreated in childcare and the “teacher” was just so rude. Also the childcare hours were always short and not even all five days a week. *Update to there reply people who threaten harassment are the ones trying to scare people from telling the truth and it’s funny how I post ONE bad review and suddenly it’s harassment and yes I tried to dispute with bank bc they charged me the wrong amount and refuse to fix I told my bank to fix it to the right amount not completely dispute it and they know that. I have been there twice in the afternoon and childcare wasn’t open. A few times in the mornings and whoever was suppose to open was late waited a while and gave up bc we had to get ready for work. We know others who are regulars and also religiously there at 4:30 as well who can back us up. As the childcare concerns I brought it up to them multiple times and was brushed off. Also not an unhappy person just someone steering people clear of a bad business. There’s such thing as freedom of speech and one comment isn’t harassment!
I love this gym, it’s family run. Weight room is stocked well, it has a your normal fitness equipment, an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor swimming pool in the summer. They also have a sauna, hot tub and my favorite a steam room. They also have classes you can attend with no additional cost as far as I am aware of.
This gym was an amazing find, the weight room has everything I need for my workouts and more and it’s never packed so I don't have to wait for machines. The sauna and indoor pool/ hot tubs are also a great addition to the whole experience.
