I started with Capital Investment Advisors in January 2023. My advisor was Bill Cibulas. He immediately sold Nvidia, Meta, Google, Amazon. Basically the majority of my holding and then bought bonds, and a variety other stocks. The account went nowhere while the market gained tremendously. Had I not met this advisor and done nothing I would be substantial better off. Lesson for others is not to rely on just any advisor. Research your choice and hold them accountable. This company severely underperformed the market and doing nothing would have been significantly more beneficial for me in my case than paying for advise which proved to have no value.
