Daniel Sallinger came to do our yearly termite inspection and quarterly pest control. Super friendly, super professional, and also very knowledgeable and helpful. Par for the course at Capital Pest Services. Please consider supporting this local business instead of any of the national pest control companies. They are a cut above.
This company provides excellent service. They come when they say they will. They are patient with answering any and all questions. Matt, who came today, was just as nice as I have come to expect from all of their service providers.
James is fantastic. Came by at the stated time, explained in detail which pest control substances are used and why, how they work, and what their best use is. Took care of the entire house in a timely manner, very friendly, professional, and polite. 10/10, 5/5 stars, excellent service, extremely grateful and satisfied.
HELP!!! Over a week ago, I received a knock on the door from a man who said he worked for Capital Pest Services. I told him I hadn’t ordered any service, but he claimed that the previous homeowners had already paid for it — which was strange since we bought the house over eight months ago. Against my better judgment, I allowed him to service the property. Then he said he needed to come inside to “finish up,” and that’s when things got weird. Luckily, I was on FaceTime with my sister. Once he entered the house, he became very rude when she asked why he had a screwdriver instead of pest control equipment. I immediately told him to leave. I’m so glad I called my sister, because I’m still not sure if he actually works for the company. I gave him my email for the service report but never received anything. I may need to contact the police to report this incident, in case anything happens to my home or family. I’ve attached his photo to this review for safety reasons.
Would not recommend. We have used Capital Pest Services for 5 years after moving to Chapel Hill, as the builder of our home use them for the termite inspection. We purchased an extensive plan, as we have young kids, and wanted to have the yard treated for red ants and bugs so they could enjoy the yard. Unfortunately, despite complaints for over 2 years, our children get absolutely destroyed by bug bites in our yard. When we again brought this up, we were told that we should take our children to dermatology for an evaluation.
