John repaired a door on a hutch that my grandparents owned many years ago. He was on time, friendly, professional and his work was wonderful. His price was fair and a lot lower (and the process a lot less complicated) than other antique repair places. I will definitely call on John and Capital Restoration again!

John is a miracle worker! We have a 60+ year old solid walnut bedroom suite that we inherited. The finish was in terrible shape, faded, mildewy, scratched, and dirty. John came to our rescue! He refinished, treated the mildew, updated the drawer pulls, and remounted the mirror from horizontal to vertical. My wife and I absolutely delighted with the final results. The finish really highlights the walnut grain. He even cleaned and sealed the inside of the drawers. Great price and great service!

A huge thank you to John at Capital Restoration for bringing our sentimental worn down furniture back to life. I gifted this for my mom’s 70th birthday and she was over the moon. He did an incredible job preserving the special parts of the furniture, strengthening each piece, restoring it and finishing. We were worried it had all been ruined beyond repair, but John works miracles!

I purchased 4 secondhand bentwood chairs that were wobbly and huge screws were put on the seat, making it uncomfortable to sit on. John did everything he said he would at a very reasonable price. He put screws that were flush with the seat and fixed the wobble issue. He did the job in a week and the pick-up was easy. It's been 3 months since he did the job and I still love my chairs. in the photos, you can see the difference between the original screws and the news ones. Definitely recommend!

We cannot say enough about John , his company and his work. He was so friendly, his prices were very reasonable and the quality of his work was absolutely outstanding. We found him by accident and we were impressed immediately. My Mother’s antique table was damaged during our move here and I was so upset. John totally restored it like new and I am so grateful. He even refinished the bottom shelf back to it’s original look. We enjoyed speaking to his family as well. They are all so friendly. Call them for sure if you need any work done.
