Love working with Capitol Heating! Ali at the front desk is excellent with communication and she’s always quick to get a technician scheduled for us! Kari is also quick to get invoices sent out following a job, which lets us close our work orders quickly! The service techs are all solid, too, and we appreciate their work on all our properties. Called for furnace not working. Technician arrived and after troubleshooting found faulty pressure switch. Repaired and tested furnace. Completed in less than 30 minutes. Great service and knowledgeable technician. Explained the issue and showed me defective part. Price was right as well. Good value for the price.
I do not like to write all negative reviews, so let me start off with the positives. We had Capitol come out for a replacement on our heat pump after a house fire. The replacement for that went very well and smooth - they were fast to get us in, on time with the installation on time and did a good job on communication with that aspect to get the unit passed for home inspection with the city. The problems started when they offered additional services with installing vents for the heater and kitchen vent. We had them out July 9th for the venting. On August 25th, we were them told that the venting did not pass inspection, which we assumed was done 7 weeks ago when the job was done. By that time, we were told that the venting they did needed to be framed out. By that time,we already had drywall in our house. We had no communication with Capitol between those two dates. When I asked about why none of these requirements or inspection failures were never communicated, we were told that Capitol is not responsible for anything, and took no accountability with resolving our issue with having to redo framing or drywalling. So we ended up having pay to frame out and put up new drywall after we assumed the entire job was complete. The communication on this issue was extremely poor and completely different experience than what we had for the installation of the heat pump. We were very disappointed since we had the initial experience was very positive and we trusted Capitol to be an expert in their fields with code requirements and clear communication.
I would highly recommend Capital Heating and Air. They’re professional, quality work comes at a reasonable price! Very friendly, and only sells you what you need! They got us a quote the same week we called, and got it installed the following week! We also were having issues with our thermostat, and the installer told us he had thermostats in his van and could install it the same time as the Mini Split! They were so great to work with, we won’t call anybody else!
I arrived home to an 85-degree house. I called Capital Heating & A/C to come check the AC compressor. The tech, Ben, arrived within 30 minutes. In less time than that, Ben had it nailed down that one of the LES service legs to my house was bad. I have no problem paying for talent like that!! Keep up the awesome work!! Now, it's up to LES to fix their line to my house while we run on a temp line.
