I used Capitol Landscaping for several (3) large residential projects. Aitor and his crews were wonderful to work with. Aitor listens carefully, and then shows up when promised and the crew works a full day doing the exact right work with no shortcuts. It is a pleasure. They ran hundreds of feet of trenching through existing landscaping: lawn, sprinkler lines, retaining walls, shrubbery. When they were done it was all perfectly restored. In addition they planted shrubs, placed rocks, installed underground gutter drains, repaired flagstone walls and pathways, built a beautiful path and patio area with pavers, constructed a gravel road and work area, and installed over 1500’ of steel edging. All the grades are perfect. It has been over a year and their work is still gorgeous. I cannot recommend them more highly!
Capitol Landscape has done several major and smaller projects for us and for our son and daughter. Jay Craig is great to work with from design to installation of a project. Jay is creative, professional, prompt and responsive. His crew was hard working and stayed on schedule during the entire projects they implemented. We highly recommend Jay and Capitol Landscape and will continue to use them for all our future design and landscape projects.
Jay and his team at Capitol Landscape are a top notch operation that we loved working with! They were always punctual, professional, tidy and thorough during our full yard landscaping job. Oh, and most importantly for most homeowners, ON BUDGET. They built or managed subcontractors for our outdoor fireplace, pergola, outdoor kitchen, play set, outdoor TV and speakers, heaters on our patio, pavers and landscape lighting. We have since sold the house in these photos and are on to a new home where we have already used Capitol Landscape to complete a very large fencing project, some privacy planting and irrigation work and a fun secret garden area with a custom built sandbox for our kiddos to play in. When we take on our next big landscaping project we won't be calling anyone else. We know Jay and his team well and trust that we're getting quality work from an honest and transparent landscaping company.
We used Jay and Capitol Landscape for the entire landscape of our North End home. Jay was fabulous and took the time to sketch out our yard in detail. He accompanied us to the nursery to pick out our plants, trees, rocks, etc. His team showed up on time and it was amazing to watch the entire yard take shape as he had drawn. His team came back to adjust sprinklers and do touch up work in the beds where heavy rains had washed away bark. Two trees, didn't grow well and Capitol replaced them with others at no cost to us. All in all it was a fabulous experience. Highly recommend Capitol.
Aitor and his crew did an amazing job on our back yard project which included taking out all of the grass and replacing it with turf, adding a couple retaining walls, building a playset, planting some trees and creating a firepit area with pavers and stairs. Aitor was very responsive and great to work with for planning and making changes. His crew is punctual, hardworking and polite. They completed the project very quickly just how we wanted it. We love how our yard turned out and would recommend them to anyone.
