Care First is the BEST animal hospital in Raleigh. My little dog GinGin always receives the top notch care. From dentals, to check ups, and vaccinations. A few times she has needed an urgent visit and they have been available with the same thorough and compassionate care in what can be a scary situation for both of us. Dr. Mendise is one of her favorite people, GinGin always looks forward to seeing her!
I've had my dog from a 2 month old pup, and she's 13 now and showing her age. Care First has provided the best veterinary care I've received out of the many different providers we've gone to over 13 years across 2 states and 3 different cities. The culture at Care First is truly that your pet's well-being is the priority. They take the time to discuss your pet's health with you. They review your pet's history to make sure they aren't just treating a single incidence on its own. Their doctors have a comprehensive knowledge and patience, and the staff is compassionate and competent. If you're fortunate enough to live near their practices, you would not be disappointed to choose them to provide the highest quality medical care for your pet.
We are returning patients of Care First @ Glenwood. Scheduling appointments is very easy, the staff is great and Dr. Moats spent about an hour with us answering questions and giving us evidence based recommendations for our new puppy. I give this practice 5 stars!
My dog had severe GI upset and had several appointments. The veterinarians and techs were absolutely amazing and so helpful, especially knowing how worried I was about my pup, Kennedy. She was hospitalized for two days, came home at night and I received updates every few hours. The vets that saw her prior came and checked in, and also Dr. Jesse called and wrote detailed notes for me to have when I took Kennedy home. They were so caring and patient and overall just wonderful. The front desk staff all greeted us when we came in, and I am sure Kennedy received lots of love while being treated. I appreciate them all so much for all they do. Kennedy is also groomed here and Jane is so amazing, Kennedy just prances back to see her, and she always looks so cute when done. I’ve been taking Kennedy here since 2021 and I couldn’t have picked a better veterinary hospital.
The whole staff went above & beyond even after my baby died. They sent flowers and a card signed by the whole staff. It meant so much & was very thoughtful. I definitely recommend this vet out of any of the ones we have used over the last 17 years in the Raleigh area. 💖
