Had a pleasant experience given the circumstances of my visit on 12/8. Had initially went to a walk in in Providence with a 3 hour wait time, but I came here and was in and out in 30 mins. Everyone was kind and helpful, I was prescribed the medication needed and out the door. Would come back here before going anywhere in Prov.
So it's rare you can ever say anything positive about going to a walk-in. You are likely not in good shape or with someone else who is being you down. But CareWell in Warwick isn't bad at all. I've actually been here 3 or 4 times in the past and consistently have good experiences. The ladies at the front desk are amazing. Friendly, professional, and kind. The doctor and the nurse were also friendly professional and kind. Everyone knew how to do their job and did it. You don't see that a lot these days. I think I was in and out in 15 minutes. If you use their website to hold your place in line it's a game changer. Do other places do this? I almost don't want people to know what a gem this place is bc I have never had a long wait and I don't want that to change.
I was planning on seeing my family, including my grandchildren the day before Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I struggled through the previous night with burning, painful eyes. In the morning I woke up and they were bloodshot. My PCP couldn't see me and if I couldn't get cleared for pink eye, I couldn't see my young grandchildren. I called CareWell and got an appointment immediately and in a little over an hour, I was at my son's house enjoying the day! Everyone, starting with the Receptionist was wonderfully kind and comforting. The first person who came into the exam room after I was escorted in and had my blood pressure, etc. taken, was so thorough, I thought he was the doctor or nurse practitioner. The NP came in after him, examined me, assured me that I didn't have pink eye and recommended I call my Ophthalmologist. Since I had cataract surgery in the previous few weeks, that was the logical approach I should have taken, but I didn't think of it. Everything turned out beautifully and I left kind of in disbelief that the whole process from calling for an appointment to getting to my son's house, took such a short amount of time. I was able to enjoy the day with my family, assured that I wasn't putting anyone at risk of getting sick. Oh, and it was my PCP's office who recommended CareWell! And I am please to say that I too recommend them to my family and friends!
This was my first visit. I was VERY pleased with the entire experience. The online appointment scheduler was very simple. When I arrived, I was taken very quickly and was not asked to re-provide information. The provider was knowledgeable, friendly, and listened to me. The facility was clean and professional. I highly recommend CareWell Urgent Care- I will certainly go back there, even though it’s not the closest Urgent care facility near me.
Last week was my first time to visit this place. I was definitely pleasantly surprised. Not like any walk in that I have ever gone to in the past. There is nothing worse than having to sit in a waiting room while you feel horrible. I walked in here and there wasn't one person in the waiting area!! The girls at the check in desk were extremely nice. The place was very clean. I completed my paperwork and got called in the see the doctor within 10 minutes. The nurse and doctor were both very nice. I was literally in and out of the place in less than 1/2 hour!!
