We hired Cargo Catering Co. for our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious the food was and how seamless the service felt on the day. We also attended their tasting evening months earlier, which was a wonderful experience and gave us so much confidence in our choice. They were fantastic with dietary requirements and handled everything with care and professionalism. Highly recommend!
We used Cargo Catering for our staff Christmas lunch and couldn’t have been happier. The food was abundant and delicious, with a stunning grazing table and fantastic taco and cannoli stations that were a huge hit with the team. The Cargo crew were friendly, attentive, and kept everything running seamlessly — including full clean-up, which was very much appreciated. It was a fun, generous, and refreshing change from the usual catered Christmas lunch. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be using Cargo Catering again.
Cargo isn't your typical wedding caterer! Absolutely excellent. Loved everything, but of the canapes, the prawn toast and the round salmon canapes were standouts. Loved the salmon entree as well, I wish I didn't fill up on canapes! The lamb main was very good at the tasting, but we thought it might be too intense a flavour for our multicultural group of guests - but my goodness, just beautiful. Excellent handling of dietary requirements. We received many compliments on the food.
The food at our recent Jim Barry Wines event supporting the McGrath Foundation by Cargo Catering absolutely exceeded our expectations! From start to finish, everything was brilliant — the food was delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. The service was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive, making the whole evening seamless and enjoyable. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how delicious everything was! We highly recommend Cargo Catering for anyone looking for excellent food and service. We’ll definitely be booking again!
I don’t even know where to begin Cargo Catering absolutely blew us (and every single guest!) away. From the very first bite, people were stopping us to say, “This is the best wedding food we’ve ever had.” And they meant it. Every dish was bursting with flavour, cooked to absolute perfection, and served with so much heart. For me, being Italian, food isn’t just food it’s who we are. It’s love, it’s family, it’s connection. So it was deeply important that the food reflected that. Cargo didn’t just meet that expectation they went beyond it. They would have made my Nonna proud, and that’s saying something! The service, the style, the presentation it all felt so elevated, so elegant… honestly, it was like being at a Kim Kardashian event. Everything looked and tasted spectacular. The staff moved like magic calm, smiling, professional and made everyone feel so looked after. Cargo Catering turned our wedding into something extraordinary. They didn’t just feed our guests they gave them an experience they’ll never forget. People are still talking about it, and so are we.
