Had a great experience during our first visit. Welcomed upon entering the store. Came to get a dashcam we had purchased on Amazon installed. Shop fees were more than the install fee but the team got started right away and had it done in about 2 hours. The install was and looked so professional. They kept me updated and called when they had questions or suggestions. I would go back to this location for future installs!
Very Professional and Courteous. Outstanding job done with my 2016 Porsche Panamera Turbo with my new Kenwood head unit. The sound and installation were top notch. I had a radio installed 9/19/25. Upon picking up my vehicle I noticed a broken clip on my floorboard. When I asked an employee about it they said “that was not needed and came from the old radio.” I know this is not true because the OEM radio was secured in by 4 screws. The broken clip came from my dash bezel. Also someone didn’t reinstall the only 2 screws the bezel has. Now my dash bezel is loose and not secure. Outgoing phone call audio is non existent. I reached out to car toys 7 days ago and haven’t heard anything back.
My faith has been restored! I had an issue with the front camera adapter I had them install. They removed it without issue. They are instrumental in helping to transform my 2014 Grand Cherokee to a 2025 Grand Cherokee..lol! This is my go to location whenever I want or feel the need to add something to my vehicle. You can't go wrong with them!
I had a terrible experience with the install. I dropped my vehicle off at 9AM and it wasn't complete until 9PM. I was the first vehicle there for the day and the last vehicle complete. I could understand if it were some crazy install, but it was a head unit and a rear camera. My vehicle wasn't even pulled in until 6:45pm after sitting there all day. After it was "completed", the unit wasn't even setting right and my plastic housing was damaged. They took it back and fixed it, but it still looks like a child installed it. I expect after paying the money that I paid and the amount of time that it was there and the fact that Car Toys are the "better way to go" and professionals, that it would look decent. On top of it all the management of the location is terrible...I was "refunded" $75 on a camera that was supposed to be free and they "upgraded" it...the promotion came with a free camera, but apparently I was charged for one and didn't realize it because the itemized invoice is IMPOSSIBLE to decipher. I will be taking my vehicle back to see if they will correct the damage and truly finish the install that I paid for. If not, I will be taking this up with the corporate office. This was literally the worst service that I have ever recieved and I strongly would advise anyone to stay anyway from this location in Hurst, Tx.
