Amazing spot and the food was delicious. The menu is set. You pay per person and each person gets the menu + a tea(s) or water. They are focused on healthy living and clean energy ✨️ Highly recommended.
The vibe is immaculate here, which makes food only part of the focus, because the space here is designed to attract those that are looking for a level of inner peace, and I was absolutely down for it. The food was simple, healthy, and delicious, and I had a great time consuming everything from vegetables to legumes to tea. One meal portion was $16 per person and I was served a plate of food that contained sauteed vegetables, salad, lentils, and steamed vegetables with sauces. Everything was delicious. Since I normally loved cooking vegan at home, some of what they served here, especially lentils, matched exactly what I would have cooked. The soup and tea were amazing as well, and there was a piece of paper on the table with explanations about the tea. Even on a Monday in December, this place had everything that I needed. There was a hammock outside, a path to walk on, and a bulletin board with flyers advertising all types of local events that were along the lines of healing and inner peace. That further solidified my perceptions about how this place would attract people whose energies aligned with what this place was trying to surround itself with.
Absolutely unbelievable! Healthy, delicious food made with love and passion. This is a truly authentic organic vegan restaurant — not some fancy, bougie Hollywood spot. Expect real food and a real atmosphere. The vibe here is part of the experience, so make sure you respect and enjoy it. The staff is super friendly, and it’s a great place for kids as well. There’s no menu — you simply get what they’ve freshly prepared for the day, and trust me, you’ll be pleasantly surprised every time. A must-try for anyone who cares about clean eating, great energy, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended! 🌱✨
Casa de luz and her staff are full of heart and devotion from my experience in this community. I witness the beauty and kinship that has been fostered here from this village for decades. With macrobiotic food, mindful and tropical atmosphere, community gatherings and events, the innovative and kind spirits I keep meeting in this beautiful place. Casa De Luz is so multi faceted and with Barton Springs I would say is the Heart of Austin Texas. Over my last 5 mo ths here, far from perc Felt yet so so enriching; Casa De Luz is the sanctuary where I have been blessed to study, learn, serve, and teach. This village is also ran by the kind devoted hearts of her family staff as well as deeply supported by it's patrons and benefactors. If you would like to experience a place to meet new wonderful people, challenge yourself in deep meditation and compassionate offerings designed to help us heal and grow, as well as explore the enduring example of what is possible for our future, please come visit or donate. And don't take my word for it, please see and experience for yourself. Namaste 💚
🌿 Casa de Luz Village – Austin, TX If you’re looking for peace on a plate and vibes for the soul — this is it. Casa de Luz Village is more than a restaurant. It’s a sanctuary. An experience. A sacred space rooted in holistic nourishment and intentional community. ✨ 100% vegan, gluten-free, organic, and sugar-free — all prepared fresh daily. There’s no menu. Instead, the meals shift with the seasons, ingredients, and inspiration of the chef. You walk in, you’re greeted warmly, and then — you’re served a complete plate: soup, salad, a nourishing main dish, and optional add-ons. 🧘🏽 The entire space feels like a retreat. Tucked near Zilker Park, the lush garden pathways, open-air courtyard, and communal tables invite you to slow down and breathe. You can dine in peace, surrounded by bamboo and stillness, or chat it up with like-minded folks. 🍰 The desserts? Listen… next level. I had a cacao tart that was gluten-free, oil-free, and absolutely divine. Sweetened with whole ingredients that didn’t weigh me down. Pure bliss. 💚 The staff is incredibly kind, and Casa also hosts yoga, movement classes, workshops, and wellness events in the adjoining studios — all part of the Village vibe. This isn’t just a place to eat. It’s a place to reconnect — with your food, your body, and your spirit.
