This used to be a really great practice but apparently they sold it to some corporation and now it’s all about making money and ripping people off. I went for a consult for laser and they charged me a $75 “deposit” which they told me could be applied to other services or products if I decided not to do the laser. Most places charge zero dollars for a consultation but because they said I could use the money toward other things I agreed. The price for the laser was outrageous, much higher than other places so I didn’t want to do it but when I tried to apply the $75 to a different cosmetic procedure I had I was told I couldn’t use it for that and then when I tried to buy a product I was told I couldn’t use it for that. So they lied and then when I question it they say they will get back to me and they never do. Steer clear!
I chose to make an appointment with this clinic based on the recommendation of someone that had a good experience with them. Wish I could have had the same thing. I put in an appointment request for a serious health concern which I had disclosed, but my request had been declined. I’m assuming it’s because they don’t take my insurance. So instead of offering me to keep my appointment and pay cash, I’m out of the appointment I’ve scheduled three months in advance. It’s clear that this place doesn’t care about people, just profit.
10.03.25 Easy to find location in a nice, large professional building. Front staff ladies were so helpful and efficient. Medical Assistant Cleo was lovely during intake review. Dermatologist Dr. Shurong Chang, MD, PhD, was very friendly and considerate to me during our appt. Ultimately I was prescribed an ointment for my yeast infection on my face and was asked to contact them again if my facial rashes reappear. Restrooms aren't in office, they're straight out of the office door and down the hall. Thank you for the free CeraVe samples, the Hydrating Facial Cleanser is excellent. My daughter loves this one.
10.03.25 Arrived at 9:37am for a 10am appt as new patients are asked to arrive 30 min early to fill out necessary paperwork. The nice looking professional building was easy to find and was in a good location across from Korean New Vision Church. Check in ladies were very helpful and courteous. Medical Assistant Cleo was so very kind and friendly when discussing mom's current problem issues and medical history with me, she wasn't rushed at all, yet very efficiently got all details from us. Dr. Shurong Chang, MD, PhD, was super friendly and caring. She listened and prescribed another ointment for frequent mouth yeast infections in addition to the 2x other ointment and cream mom's excellent Rheumatologist, Dr. Diane Mar, had also prescribed. We are to take photos of and call to schedule for a follow up when Mom has another flare that turns all red, bumpy, and tree bark-like on her mouth, corners of mouth and chin, which is recurrent but at unexpected times, especially during stressful or tiresome events or during drastic changing of weather. Thank you to all staff and Dr. Chang!
This clinic seems like always very busy, we walked in to make appointment, phone are ringing in the background for the entire time (about 5 or 7 minutes) but no one answered while the front desk clerk are taking in our information and insurance. Only available opening for our visit will be two months out. You need to pack lots patience to visit this clinic, but I hope the Doctor are amazing here! And it should be,otherwise why they always so busy!
