I'll start by saying the staff is super friendly and the chips and salsa are possibly the best around. The place was clean and has a nice Mexican decor. My only complaint is with the flavor of the entrees. I got a burrito loaded with foods you'd think would be a flavor explosion, but I felt like I was eating a frozen burrito. Very bland. The grilled chicken was bare, without a hint of cumin or any other flavor. There was one bite in the whole burrito that had flavor, but it was just one large piece of serona pepper in the middle of the burrito and almost a little overbearing. Would've been nice to have it minced and sprinkled throughout. My friend I went with, as well as the conversation of a couple I could hear at the table across from us confirmed it wasn't just me. All our dishes were bland, which is surprising, seeing the free salsa was so flavorful. I give it a try again in a month to see if maybe it was just a one- off kinda night.

Having lived in California, Mexican Restaurants here havent even been close to the ones I have eaten at in CA, but this place really is diff than the other chains around town that are average at best to me. Loved this place! Was def impressed when our food came. Ricardo chatted with us for a bit and was super friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. This is our new fav spot for Mexican food! I hope they never change a thing because it was great! We had chimichanga, empanadas, queso, the wet burrito and fried ice cream! I was on the fence about trying it bc all the fried ice cream in town is “ick” but their fried ice cream is hands down one of the best Ive had! Uniquely made as they make their own coating and it was just perfect.

Me and my husband decided to finally try this place out as we have heard from many people that it was good. We have another place that is usually our spot for Mexican food but wanted to see what all the fuss was about. We went for a lunch on a Monday around 1130 and we were one of the only people in there. Got seated right away, hostess was never nice and our server was at our table rather quickly. We ordered the table side Guac. I'm a Guac Snob and man when I tell you it was good it was GOOD! It was a creamier texture (which I prefer but like it either way) and the flavor was amazing. Even tho it had all the same stuff Guac usually does. What I absolutely liked about it was the person making the tableside Guac set a small spoonful in a dish and asked us to try it to see if it was to our liking and if we needed anything extra added. It was perfect! Chips and salsa were very on point. We both got the lunch El Ranchero Burritos (chorizo, queso, beans and egg) with rice and let me tell you and this Chorizo!! I've had a lot of chorizo and this has to be homemade at the restaurant bc it was so incredibly flavorful I couldn't get enough of it. Best Chorizo I've had yet. So, do yourself a favor and go and try this place if you haven't. Let's make sure we keep this place in business bc they definitely know what they're doing in the kitchen!!

The menu has a variety of options! Each meal was full of flavor and every bite was simply delicious. The atmosphere was welcoming and the chef sent a desert that will have me coming back for more.

This place is well worth a visit and is going to be a regular stop for us! The service was great. Our server was very on top of it, informative and personable. Food was delicious. Drinks were very yummy Strawberry margarita! and I love the artwork and wall paintings. This is an independent Mexican restaurant not related to any of the Cebollas that have taken over Fort Wayne. Their menu is very different and provides a delightful selection. I had the chicken chimichanga and the hubs had Ribeye ala Mexicana, both dishes were very tasty. Fresh made guacamole and chips and salsa were a nice start to a great meal. We highly recommend you give them a try.
