I’ve finally found an exercise routine that I enjoy. Club Pilates in Back Bay is perfect for professionals who are in the area and looking for an effective work out routine that’s flexible and inclusive. They offer free classes for beginners so you can try it out before committing. The instructors are wonderful, empowering and very knowledgeable. I wish I’d started sooner but I’ve been working out for almost 90 days and I’m impressed by the results.
Tried to sign up for an intro class with a code from my friend who had taken classes there already. The code didn’t work but I had already given them my contact information. They contacted me SIX separate times in a week. Texting and calling trying to get me to take a class it was way too aggressive. I know how to book a class, if I wanted to I would. I had been planning to circle back on my own but the boarder line harassment ensured I definitely won’t now.
Such a great time! The energy from front of house to the instructors is 10/10 🤩. I’m a newbie to Pilates but felt at ease.
I will not be returning. A group of friends and I booked a 12pm trial class. Some of us arrived at 11:50, and the rest by 11:57. Despite being on time, we were denied entry because we were told there “wasn’t enough time to fill out waivers” and the class was “about to start.” We were told we might be able to join the 1pm trial if space allowed, and instructed to return at 12:50. When we returned at exactly 12:50, only three people were there. Shortly after, more participants walked in—some as late as 12:55–1:05—and yet they were all welcomed into the class. Meanwhile, we were again denied entry. This was confusing and frustrating, especially since the 12pm class we were originally scheduled for wasn’t even full (just one person and the instructor). We were then told we could attend a 2pm intro class, but only if we paid. We did so without complaint, but the question remains: why were we treated differently? Why were latecomers allowed to join while we were turned away? Adding to the concern, another African American woman was also denied entry with the same excuse, yet every other late participant who was not Black was admitted. The inconsistency and disparity in treatment felt discriminatory, and it left us with a very negative impression of this establishment.
