I could not possibly be happier with my experiencing working with Co-Op K9 Training. I realized that I would not be able to train my working line German Shepherd puppy Ronin on my own and was in need of a professional to ensure his training journey was successful. Megan is not only extremely knowledgeable but extremely passionate. From the moment I had my consultation I knew that she was dedicated to ensuring that Ronin’s needs were going to be met and that my mindset relating towards his training was appropriate. She took excellent care of Ronin and got us through some extremely difficult behavioral challenges relating to his mindset and the tendencies of his breed. I was kept updated throughout the entire process with photos, videos, and Instagram posts which allowed me to rest easier without my boy at home. At our midway session I was able to get hands on experience with the concepts she had been working to teach him and correct areas where I as an owner needed to adjust my mindset. This allowed me to reflect on what I had learned and apply the tools and techniques more effectively during our hand off session. Ronin’s behavior is dramatically improved and while I need to continue to put in the work to maintain it I feel confident I have been armed with the tools and knowledge to do so. I am so grateful for Megan’s help. The freedom to enjoy life and the freedom to explore the world that we have as a result. I strongly recommend that you work with Co-Op K9 Training as it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life.

I can't recommend Co-OP K9 highly enough! Megan was so wonderful to work with! We have a 5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback with some reactivity issues. And while we'd done different training classes when he was a puppy, there was a disconnect between what we'd learned and applying it outside of a classroom, because the methods used did not communicate well with our dog. All of Megan's lessons were real world, and she recommended equipment changes that allowed us to communicate with our dog more quickly and effectively. She helped explain why some of the reactivity was happening and how to avoid it and or handle it when avoiding isn't possible. We have a much healthier and happier relationship with our dog now. Megan will answer all your dog questions!

We got two puppies towards the beginning of COVID. Quickly found ourselves in over our head when one started showing some less than desirable behaviors. Megan was absolutely amazing in helping us with the structure and training we desperately needed. Years later and she’s still there for us when we need her. She’s so kind and sweet and still very straightforward with giving directions. I don’t know where we’d be without her!

We have not had a puppy in about 14 years, so to say we needed a brush up is an understatement. Megan worked with George (and us) doing one on one puppy training. She was able to give us the confidence and knowledge to get George on the right path. She even offered us joint lessons with George’s litter mate sister, Dolly. With Megan’s guidance we feel more condfident as new puppy parents !
