BEWARE!!!!! DON'T BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS MADE BY STAFF AND FRIENDS Misleading and Deceptive Conduct Very disappointed with my recent experience at Coco & Lola. Before purchasing a dress in-store, I specifically asked about returns and was told by the staff member assisting me (who I later learned was the STORE MANAGER!) that I had 10 days to return the item. At no point was I informed that returns were credit note only. Based on that reassurance, I proceeded with the purchase. When I returned two days later, I was shocked to be told a refund was not possible and that I would only receive a store credit. This directly contradicted what I had been told at the time of purchase. The policy was not explained to me, I was not directed to signage, and there was no reason for me to check the website given I had already asked the question directly. Management later acknowledged that the policy was not mentioned by staff, yet still refused to issue a refund, instead relying on a long-standing internal policy. The response felt dismissive and lacked accountability, particularly given that the incorrect information came from the store manager herself. I fully respect return policies when they are clearly communicated. However, in this case, I was unable to make an informed decision and feel misled by omission. As a past customer, this experience has left a very sour taste and I will think twice before shopping here again!
Coco and Lola are so easy and efficient to deal with. I’ve had nothing but a great experience after returning one dress for another then another and being a total pain they handled everything so perfectly and I didn’t feel like it was ever an issue. I now have found the perfect dress and I couldn’t be happier. Danni from online and customer service was such a joy to deal with. Very thankful for such fantastic service ❤️
Staff at store in Nedlands not welcoming or helpful. My mum went in to try a dress and they didn't once check in or see how we were going. The only time they spoke to us was when my mum said she had put the dress on hold yesterday to which the staff member replied " we don't hold overnight" before even looking to which she found it was still there. I get you have online sales but to abruptly state that before even looking or saying something nicely like " we don't usually hold overnight but I will have a look for you" would be a much nicer way to speak. My mum did end up buying a dress but if it was available at another store I would have told her to buy there instead due to your staffs customer service.
I ordered a dress online for an event and the dress was sheer and came with a slip underneath. The dress was beautiful and suited me well but when I wore the dress for the first 3 hours the dress had pulls already in the fabric. I think the quality of the dress was defintely not good and way over priced for the $300 + I paid for the fabric to already have pulls within 3 hours of wearing it. Very disappointed in the quality of the fabric after the little use it had.
I had an amazing experience with Dani and the entire team at Nedlands! I preordered my dress and was cutting it a bit close to my event, but they went above and beyond to ensure I had it in time. They kept me updated and were always happy to assist with any follow-ups. The dress is absolutely perfect, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire process. Their customer service is exceptional and so is the quality of their products! I look forward to shopping with them again in the near future ❤️
