Café du Coin est un café-restaurant accueillant situé à quelques pas de la gare routière de Digbeth à Birmingham. Réputé pour son excellent service et son ambiance propre et cosy, il propose un menu varié comprenant des omelettes aux légumes, du thé karak, des bagels au saumon, du falafel et des plats de shawarma au poulet. Avec des portions généreuses, des prix raisonnables et un accent sur des saveurs fraîches et équilibrées, c'est un endroit prisé des voyageurs, des habitants et des amis en quête d'une expérience culinaire agréable. I came here with my best friend, we tend to also hang out at coffee shops before training, the service was excellent. The service was excellent from start to finish. The chef was incredibly kind and genuinely hospitable even gave me a free drink. I tried the vegetable omelette and karak chai. The omelette was fresh, light, and easy to eat, with clean flavours that didn’t feel heavy at all. The karak chai was perfectly balanced creamy and comforting, not too bitter and not overly sweet. Overall, it was a really pleasant experience and we’ll definitely be coming back again I would highly recommend.
Highly recommended. If you are stopping by the station, this is the closest and most highly rated place. 2mins walk. I got the salmon bagel and karak. Original and varied menu, top class service, good atmosphere and great prices.
This cafe made me a falafel convert, I was never a fan of it but my friend ordered some and I was VERY surprised when I tried it. The chef here made the best one I have ever ate. Delicious burger and rice as well as the chips. Good vibes, very welcoming. If you want to try a nice, clean place this is the one.
Well that hit the spot. I'm travelling by coach and need feeding up. Coffee Joint is just across the road from Digbeth Coach Station. Chicken Shawarma platter - tasty and generous quantities (didn't realise I was getting chips as well). Service was quick (just before 12:00. Place beginning to fill up). Coffee was good. If you are waiting for your coach - have a coffee here. The toilets are clean and won't cost you 30p (unlike at the station)
Really enjoyed my lunch here today! I walk past this place quite often but finally decided to head in with a friend for lunch. The place is very cute and clean. The decor is really nice and the food was delicious. Salah (behind the till) was very friendly and warm. He made sure we had everything we needed. The prices are fair and the portions are big so you definitely get your moneys worth. Will definitely be visiting this place again.
