I was told about Connected Health from a friend. I was struggling with acne for the first time in my life (am in my late 30s). I had tried various products and nothing seemed to help. I booked appointments with Jen (naturopath) and Felicia (facialist). Jen suggested some vitamins and supplements. Felicia recommended specific cleanser, serum, moisturizer and exfoliator. I followed up with them after 6 weeks and then again after a following 6 weeks. I am now acne free! :-) highly recommend !!
I first reached out to Dr. Jen Newell in 2017 during an incredibly stressful period of my life. I had just gone through a breakup, relocated across the country, moved into a new apartment, started a demanding new job with frequent travel, and had multiple projects on the go. At the time, I didn’t fully realize how much all these changes were impacting my body—until one night, while traveling for work, my face broke out in painful, boil-like acne. It was unlike anything I had ever experienced, even during my teenage years. Desperate for relief, I tried countless expensive skincare products with little lasting success. I also visited a dermatologist who prescribed a topical ointment, warning that it would likely make things worse before improving. Naturally, I wasn’t eager to go down that road. Through online research, I discovered Dr. Jen Newell’s naturopathic practice, which emphasizes a holistic approach to skin health. After just a few visits involving targeted treatments like enzyme peels and microneedling, my skin returned to normal—and looked better than ever. Dr. Newell is exceptionally knowledgeable and committed to staying current with the latest research in holistic skincare. Aside from the pandemic years, I’ve continued to see her regularly—once or twice a year—for microneedling maintenance. I’m also excited to try Aerolase for my hyperpigmentation in the near future. If you’re struggling with your skin and looking for a comprehensive, supportive approach, I can’t recommend Dr. Newell highly enough.
I have been a loyal client to Jen since 2018. The Connected Health and Skin clinic provides a welcoming and clean environment for clients. She is an expert on performing treatments and is knowledgeable on a variety of products, and techniques. I get annual treatments performed by her, and my skin has never looked better. I highly recommend her services and clinic to friends and family.

My husband and I have had the utmost pleasure being under the extremely knowledgeable and truly talented care of Jennifer, and Felicia at @connectedhealthandskin over the past few years. They were highly recommended by our previous skin therapist and they have proven with top stars to be an endless wealth of support in so many wonderful ways. We have enjoyed an array of therapeutic and transformative services from them including: corrective facials, red light therapy, radio frequency, micro needling, Brazilian lymphatic drainage massage, IPL therapy, Revita Pen treatments, CO2 lift facials (which is really helpful for mature, sensitive, rosecea and dehydrated skin type clients as myself) and their most recent cherry on top is their Areolase Neo Clear top of the line treatment. It miraculously does it all, targeting pigmentation, bruising, varicose veins, hair removal, acne, scarring, tightening all with zero down time and all in one visit. This treatment ideally should be performed in a series to reach your ultimate goals, but even after one I am officially hooked!!! As a small business service provider myself, I deeply value and take keen note of how this team of consummate professionals tailor each session to really deliver what your skin may thirsty for in each moment in time. They will eagerly walk you through each step of their self care plan of action so you can rest easy knowing you are in the best hands in the city. This beauty oasis is as welcoming as can be and their approach to healing skin is as refreshing as their obvious passion for what they practice so perfectly.
