They have a super selection of wines. In particular one of the few places I can get Longridge wines, plus a few other South African gems. Besides the selection, the service is super efficient and is swiftly delivered to my front door.
Lovely ambience, sensibly priced, and good range of wine in the shop. Really like that you can pay £9.50 to drink anything from their wine shop while you're there. Will definitely be returning for a longer session.
Super first visit to Connolly's. Chap in the wine shop was super helpful and I enjoyed sharing our enthusiasm for (and for me learning more about) all things Burgundy. Nice selection of wines that were sensibly priced across multiple fine wine styles and price points. Congenial environment to uncork a bottle too. My bag was certainly heavier that I expected it to be with all my 'souvenirs', a sign of a successful visit! I will definitely call in again the in next time I'm in Brum
Christmas 2024 was the first time I had used Connolly’s (who had been recommended to me). I had a large order to send to various clients across the country; Connolly’s helped me with the wine selection and also provided a packing and postage service. They got the deliveries out on time, which was a feat as I couldn’t confirm some of the recipients’ details until the last minute. The quality of wines and the level of service received was excellent and well worth the money. I highly recommend Connolly’s and will certainly use them again.
Arch13 Heaven. No throwing of bottles into a bin. Non wobbly tables. Good music from good speakers. Beautiful staff. Genuinely friendly. Supreme charcuterie. Our main reason for coming to Birmingham. The wine is too good it doesn't need mentioning.
