This team is incredible, exceeding our expectations in every way!! Our sweet girls stayed for their first time for 1 week with the team at Country Paws. Facility is like home with clean and comfy rooms. We were pleased that the girls could stay together in a “deluxe” suite. The team was so friendly at check in and really took the time to understand our rescue dogs’ special needs. Immediately, I felt the Staff truly cared for our dogs. Their kindness and patience during check in made me feel so at ease. During their staycation, Greta and Frankie warmed up to the team and enjoyed lots of attention including 1:1 play sessions and limited time with other dogs (our preference). Not only did the Staff send adorable “pupdates” emails regularly, we were able to see what the girls were up to with fun Facebook posts every day. These helped us to enjoy our vacation with a little less guilt. Upon pick up, our flight was delayed and we knew we would not arrive to Country Paws before closing. But once again, the team went above and beyond for our family! Not only did they stay after closing to wait for us, the team helped us to carry everything to our car, providing us even more positive updates about the girls’ stay. They could have just closed and left with a “see ya in the morning”. They could have collected payment, rushed us out with a quick “see ya next time”. But they did the right thing, knowing it would be better for Greta and Frankie to reunite with us and go home, even if it meant they stayed a little later after hours (during a snowstorm). I will never forget this kind gesture and will tell everyone I encounter. What made this experience even more special to us, is the fact that we lost our beautiful Golden at a kennel (not Country Paws) the last time we went away. We were so uncertain if we would ever use a kennel service again. But we had heard so many wonderful stories about Country Paws. I’m here to attest that they are all true. The values of this business shine through their people. Thank you Katelyn, Emily, Bekah and the entire team who shared such amazing love and care for Frankie and Greta! We love you and can’t wait to see you again!
I would suggest thinking twice about leaving your pets at Country Paws. My dogs contracted kennel cough and they texted & emailed me while I was away on vacation in CAMBODIA. They knew full well where I was and cited that I was the emergency contact and they were still reaching out. They contracted kennel cough at YOUR kennel!! Why would you bother someone who is on the other side of the world???? Makes no sense!!! They asked that my dogs be picked up ASAP. They were going home to an empty house with a family member temporarily helping out and 2 different neighbours checking on them 4 times a day. Be forewarned. BEFORE you respond ... all my communication is on text and email because they never picked up the phone. I asked for an owner to call me but I only rec'd a call from a manager after I returned to Canada. I am personally out $4,500 in additional flight costs, as well as a canceled non-refundable tour and hotel costs. OH but they didn't charge me for the days that my dogs didn't stay there. THANKS!!!!!
Our dogter loves the House!! She is always so excited to go and they take such great care of her. I really like the fact that they have specials every month and take so many photos of the dogs. My only suggestion would be if the staff could also take pictures of the dogs enjoying the special treats that they have every month since we pay extra to add those on. The treats are so cute and it would be nice to know if our fur baby enjoyed it.
Took my dogs for boarding, Sandy had never been boarded before so was a little worried about her. Emailed the staff and they got back to me right away with updates. They were awesome with the dogs and Sandy enjoyed the cuddles as much as they did ❤️ Thanks so much, and I wouldn't hesitate to board there again. Sandy and Money say "hi" 🐾
Our dog Bao LOVES Country Paws! He has so much fun on his daycare days -running around with plenty of friends for hours! The moment we drive up to CP, he gets super excited. Bao has been groomed twice there. Both times, he’s super soft, clean and well groomed! We will most definitely be getting him groomed there moving forward. Bao recently had a 7-day vacation at the house. He was well taken care of and all the pictures made me so happy to see that he was thriving there. The staff are so nice and attentive to the dogs. They treat the dogs just as if they were their own. Country Paws is literally a home away from home to him, and we will continue to bring him there!
