Everyone at Craig McQueen is so friendly, professional, competent, and kind. Usually I see Cheysi, and I can’t say enough good things about her! She’s fantastic! Today I saw Anna. She’s amazing, too! I am SO happy with my new haircut, and Anna was working with a previous haircut (attempted at home) that hadn’t gone so well, so she had extra work to do! She did a fantastic job, and I couldn’t be happier. She did more than fix a bad haircut. She gave me a haircut I really, really like. She’s great! I’m so thankful. :) Craig McQueen Salon has certainly earned my loyalty.
My hair was badly damaged during what should have been a partial highlight service by a master stylist, Joelle. After she double-booked me, she left me at the bowl with the assistant. The new assistant started aggressively brushing my wet, freshly bleached, fine and thin hair with a bulky paddle brush. After a few passes with this huge brush that was not even a wet brush, I insisted I would blow dry myself as I had already walked from the bowl to the stylist, while she was fully servicing someone else so she could check foils. When I started blow drying, a lot of hair came out. There was also a ton of hair in the brush used at the bowl. Lead stylist acted very indifferent. I was only offered 50% off my service. My hair is badly damaged. I have had to cut several inches off. The texture is fried, mangled and still layered in places. It looks a HOT mess. Do not book with Joelle. Her attitude of indifference was cold while I was in tears. The assistant and Joelle also quickly threw all the hair away that came out. It was not a professional service. I will NOT be back. I have had my hair bleached for several years without any damage. This appointment left me with a ton of damage. My hair was beautiful and long - all one length. I would have never booked with the master stylist had I known I would be getting the new assistant. Not only that, Joelle has weird, negative energy. I WILL NEVER step foot in this salon again. Manager offered a full refund and a K18 treatment free of charge. However, damage has been done. Do not book with Joelle. The color is also not great as she was not being vigilant with bleach/foils. She let the assistant do a lot of the guessing, and half my hair is lighter on one side.
Joelle made me fabulous!! I drove over 2 hours after the owner recommended I need to see Joelle. Worth it! The owner called me personally and worked me in to Joelle’s schedule on a day that fit both our schedules. My hair looks so professional and classy! Love it! See you again soon! 😃🩷
Love Joelle! A friend recommended her to me a few years ago when I moved here & it was a God-send. I definitely do not come in enough, but she’s always able to make up for my lost time and has me leaving feeling great. I’m picky and struggled to described my exact color vision when I arrived, she nailed it and has perfectly made subtle seasonal changes here & there when I’ve wanted teeny tweaks. Zac is also wonderful - met him first when he did the BEST blowout I’ve ever had. He’s leveled up as a stylist since then & has since done my color as well - I’ve been so happy booking him, too, in tight scheduling windows whenever Joelle wasn’t available. The whole staff here is so sweet and sincere and welcoming!
Fantastic experience with Zac. Every concern was heard, the cut was executed flawlessly, and the conversation was both educational and genuinely enjoyable. Left really happy with the results and feel like a stylist worth coming back to. Highly recommend for anyone wanting skill, care, and great energy in the chair.
