We live eight hours away and our son‘s truck broke down while he attends college there in New Orleans. Crescent city auto was very accommodating, friendly and easy to work with. They actually were not able to work on the vehicle and advise me on where to take it and help me navigate the process since I was so far away. Their customer service is excellent. I've been a Crescent City Automotive customer for 12+ years and appreciate knowing I can trust their diagnostics and service, and count on fair pricing every time. I recently needed a set of tires for my new-ish Japanese SUV. I debated going to a big box tire shop and thought I might go with another set of OEMs. But I'm glad I trusted my gut and first checked with CCA. I was given 3 total service prices - 1 for the OEMs, 1 for a budget set, and 1 for "the tires we recommend and I have on my own family's cars." The third recommendation was about 20% more than I wanted to spend but again I went with my gut and CCA's recommendation. When I went to pick up my car, as I was driving home it felt like I was driving a different new car! This is Uptown New Orleans where we are known worldwide for our amazing smooth streets and I felt like I was driving on the buttery roads we are known for. From now on I'm going straight to CCA and let these guys do what they do best - take care of their customers as they would their own families. Thank you Crescent City Automotive!

I brought my car in for a diagnostic and a few other known issues. My car had a rattling noise that I was not able to diagnose myself, so I assumed such a "reputable" mechanic in the city would do a good job. I picked my car up and they told me the alternator needed to be replaced. Fair enough, I don't have the tools or knowledge to do a diagnostic. A few weeks later I went to get an oil change from another company. They opened up my hood and there were so many horrifyingly bad issues. Tell me why the hose that connects to my manifold was loose. Also they definitely did not do a diagnostic because there were breaks issues, and more with my car. VERY VERY shady considering there is another 1 star review from another 20 year old college student describing a similar experience with replacing an alternator and then having the car poop out shortly after. Keep in mind they charged me 1500 dollars for this which my mother helped pay half. Maybe I'm wrong about something or other, but this is beyond alarming.
