I’m really enjoying this new gym! The HIIT and Barbell 45 classes are fantastic, and a huge shoutout to Daviah, Dylan, Kyla, and Jonny—these guys are total rockstars! They’re so knowledgeable and fun, and they know exactly how to keep you motivated. It’s also a huge plus that there’s always tennis on the big screen! 🎾 I’d love to see more of those classes added to the 6:00 pm slot on Mondays,Wednesdays, and Fridays. Giving 4 stars only because I’ve noticed some wall damage in the HIIT studio already—it’s a shame since it’s been open less than a month! Some surveillance for when classes aren't running would help keep the space nice. Also, a better system for the Recovery Room would be great; I’ve noticed some people tailgating into the room behind others. Looking forward to this being my fitness home for years to come!
I am loving the new gym but the major issue I have is how tiny the bathroom is, I can’t call it a locker or changing room because there is not enough space to give it that title. It has 8 lockers, I think 1 shower, 2 small changing rooms (size like a single stall bathroom) which is fine but there should be a changing area as well. Also zero benches to even sit on and the shower situation is just odd. It’s just too small and I don’t understand why they made it that way 🤷🏼♀️
I recently visited this Crunch gym, and I had an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff, and the entire atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and friendly. Unlike other gyms where everyone keeps to themselves, at Crunch, there were good vibes all around, and people were genuinely friendly and engaging. I also want to highlight a few people that help me out; Mike, the manager, who was fantastic, and Matt, who helped me right from the start. I especially want to highlight Jimmy, one of the trainers. Jimmy was incredibly supportive and gave me so much valuable information. As someone who’s just getting back into fitness after having a child, Jimmy made me feel comfortable and at ease throughout the session. I never felt embarrassed, and his encouragement truly made all the difference. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this Crunch and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive, supportive gym environment.
Visited on opening day! I was a member at two other crunch locations before this one and you can tell this one's next-generation for sure. Behind the plaza with restaurants and department stores like Burlington and TJ Maxx you'll find this gym. Crazy spacious with plenty of machines, even perhaps in anticipation for the new years rush on top of being new, I think it won't be too much an issue being crowded. Lots of amenities too, like public lockers with their own key codes, though at the time of this review the infrared sauna and cold room in the recovery section are still WIP. This next part of my review is super niche for any boxers/martial artists looking for a place to practice. The HIIT zone is where the bags are and requires a peak membership or higher (I think) for access as you need to scan in for entry. I'm a doofus and forgot to take pictures inside, but It's sectioned off and peaceful in there cause the gym music doesn't come through, and open use whenever there aren't any classes going on. Bags are rock hard as expected for being new, and room is slightly warmer than the rest of the area, but well enough ventilated. Unfortunately there's only 4 heavy bags; in early models and renders I saw about 10 but one of the corners was occupied by assault bikes instead. That said, because it's membership-gated, the bags aren't open to the public like the other crunch gyms I've been to so getting one to work on I hope won't be much of an issue.
This gym is AWESOME. Definitely looks like it will be well worth the wait. Staff seem very helpful and kind as well. Tons of Olympic lifting platforms, huge turf area, one of the biggest free weight areas I have ever seen in a gym. And a specific area for glutes and abs with a lot of really unique equipment that I can’t wait to use! Definitely would recommend signing up here!
