We had a Christmas cooking class for 8 adult family members. We had never done anything like this at our home. Francesco and Giorgio were fantastic and not only good chefs but fun too. We learned how to make some delicious Italian meals and had a great time interacting with them. Their wine pairing was excellent. While we were eating what we cooked they were busy cleaning up the kitchen. We definitely can recommend them and plan to have them back to teach us how to use our pizza oven to make fresh pizzas. We had an AMAZING Sunday at Cucina Migrante! Simón is a perfect host for an experience like this. We first perused the Hillcrest farmers market for fresh produce, and learned how to pick good tomatoes and where to go for certain ingredients. The cost of the produce is included in your ticket, so Simón paid for it all after letting us choose our ingredients. Based on the season and what’s good, he gave us some options for what we could cook. I’m a vegetarian but the rest of the group ate meat, so he was able to kindly accommodate all of us and be flexible based on all our different preferences. I even asked about squash blossoms at the market just for my own curiosity, and he insisted that we end up making them! The house that you go to for the second part of the event is so charming and spacious, with room for even large parties to all take part in every step of the cooking. Before cooking, we took a quick break to enjoy a beautiful charcuterie board that was waiting for us. We then made fresh tomato and meat sauce, chicken picatta, stuffed mushrooms, stuffed squash blossoms, and tomato risotto with fried eggplant. It was all amazing! Simón is Italian and has worked in Michelin star restaurants- he mentioned SO many good facts and tips along the way that you can use at home. I will absolutely book another event with him!

My co-workers and I went to Cucina Migrante for a team building event, and we had the best time! Natalia, Chef Simone and Adise were amazing to work with and made sure we had a good time from start to finish. Chef Simone was fun, encouraging, and patient with us non-cooks. I HIGHLY recommend Cucina Migrante to any and all!!

From the moment you step into the beautiful home, you’re warmly welcomed with a drink of your choice. The evening begins with meeting the amazing hosts, Chef Simone and Francesco, along with the other guests, while enjoying a delicious charcuterie spread. Then it’s straight into a fun and interactive pasta-making lesson, paired with plenty of wine and laughter. The entire night was truly unforgettable, and I couldn’t recommend this experience more highly!

10/10 recommend Cucina Migrante! We hosted a corporate team bonding event — and wow, did we bond! There was so much laughter and delicious food. The chef was incredibly interactive, and we truly felt the warm, family spirit in this beautiful home. Everything was clean, cozy, and all-around amazing. Bella was so attentive to our needs, and it’s clear they genuinely love hosting these cooking classes. We’ll definitely be back and will be spreading the word to share this wonderful experience.
