✨ Hidden Gem at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Stumbling upon Cuples Tea House during a visit to the Baltimore Christmas Village turned into one of those unexpectedly lovely moments you hope for when exploring a city. I first came across their pop-up at the market, and the person working it suggested stopping by their brick-and-mortar location just steps away in the Inner Harbor. I am so glad we did. They were in the process of closing for the evening, but we were still able to grab green tea, a bourbon muffin, and a carrot cake cupcake before they called it a night. The bourbon muffin was served warm and comforting, full of flavor, and for the record, there is no alcohol in the muffin. We enjoyed our tea and treats in the cozy lounge area of Vinyl & Pages, the connected shop next door, also owned by the same husband-and-wife team. Books, records, tea, and pastries all in one welcoming space. The entire experience felt comfortable, inviting, and homey, the kind of place you want to linger and return to. I would absolutely go back.
Found this space as I visited for Army Navy Game and loved it. Beautiful space and atmosphere. I purchased the Maharaji tea and banana bread. Everything was great.
My daughter and I came here after an appointment this morning, and WOW! The blood orange tea was incredible. The other one we got was too but I forget the name of it. We also got the most dreamy chocolate chip cookies I have ever had and the lemon bites, which were basically tiny lemon cupcakes. Delicious! The owner was so friendly and welcoming. This was really a great experience and we can’t wait to go back!
This place is awesome if you like teas, or “fresh” drinks. The staff is very nice and will offer suggestions if you’re unsure on what to order. I had the “sapphire blue” tea and a sweet potato scone, both were delicious. The setup here and “vibe” were awesome-good music and great decor. It’s located a bit off the beaten path which was nice as the location wasn’t too busy. The only downside is the seating, there are only two tables and a little bench off to the side. Other than the seating, this place is great. The selection of tea is wonderful, and you can even get to-go teas which is nice. They don’t offer hot breakfasts anymore (that I read from other reviews before visiting) but they do still serve pastries, such as muffins, pound cake, scones, etc.
I rarely give five stars but I truly did have a great experience. Despite the space being rather small it was very cute and clean. We enjoyed two flights of seasonal teas and a muffin. I’m no tea aficionado so we needed to understand more of the offerings and the first employee was very helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to learn of the vinyl record and book store in the neighboring storefront. It’s so lovely to support a black-owned business with good service and quality product. I hope I’m able to return sooner rather than later.
