This place does a pretty decent job of cutting boys hair, but if you choose to trust this business to operate with 'integrity,' you'd better physically show/point out the product price tags to the owner at check out and review your receipt carefully for accuracy before paying. We've been coming here for years and tonight I was shocked to find that the business owner herself intentionally ripped me off. I didn't see the price of this pink hair color spray, but I did see the $5.99 price tag on this 1" piece of clip on fake hair that my daughter asked me to buy her because I decided it was moderately priced for a bit of kid happiness. When my total after tip was $65 for a boys clipper cut and the two products attached, I went ahead and text myself a copy of the receipt to review, while Akila walked off with the next client. I then checked my products to find the price tags had been removed before returning to me at check out. Sadly, the ~$20+ added to my receipt in excessive and fraudulent charges and inflated tip on gross total just cost this business a customer. Honesty goes a long way in client retention, Akila. Shocked and appalled.
don't let the old lady with the walker/chair thing cut your kid's hair. asked for a 1/2 guard fade with a 1.5"-2" on top to have a comb over or fauxhawk. this is what was delivered for $18.95. stevie wonder could've done a better job. safe to say that I'm never going back here. i suggest going elsewhere.
Beyond happy with their service! We have been to a few salons that specialize in kids cuts, but we absolutely LOVE Curly and Spikey! It’s been challenging to find a salon that consistently does a good job cutting his hair, until now. My son always gets an excellent cut and great service! Such a great value!
Great place for all ages! Great experience for baby’s first haircut. Provided us with a first haircut package keepsake which included little envelopes for his hair clippings. Very patient and experienced dealing with children. My 9 month old grandson loved riding in the fire department car and ringing the bell. She also cut my adult son’s hair and did a great job on the men’s cut! Salon is clean and welcoming. Was conveniently open on Sunday! Highly recommend!
We just discovered Curly and Spikey today. Had a wonderful experience! This was a first haircut for my youngest (3yo) and the first haircut in a very long time for my oldest (4yo). Akila and the team were so good with the girls! There were lots of toys and games to play with while waiting and shows to watch during the actual haircut. They even finished us off with adorable styles and added glitter. Very affordable and quick too. We will definitely be back!
