I’ve had my couch for nearly a year now and it’s my favorite thing I own. I couldn’t be happier with how they made it. it’s extremely comfortable, looks great, and very easy to clean. The customer service was amazing too. they really know what they’re doing. My couch almost didn’t fit in my place due to the apartment layout, so definitely double-check measurements very carefully before ordering. But otherwise I recommend them 100%. the delivery people they connected me with were incredibly skilled at maneuvering it inside
Diego and Damian are excellent!! Sure, you COULD just get a cheaply made piece of furniture from a big, faceless international corporation… but you’ll probably want to replace it in a few years when it wears out, plus, good luck getting any customer service. OR, you could order from a small family business right here in the bay, that does all their manufacturing to order in California. They go through every detail meticulously with you to make sure you get exactly what you want. You can pick one of their existing designs from the showroom, or you can do like we did and custom design your dream sofa to fit your space! We are so excited to have this beautiful new centerpiece to our home, and can rest easy knowing that the Custom Sofa Co brothers are ready and willing to do any repairs or alterations we might need. It is by far the best piece of furniture we have ever owned. If you’re on the fence just go check out the showroom, they’re super friendly and not at all salesy/pushy. Great vibes, great products, and great business practices.
We had an excellent experience at Custom Sofa in Oakland. Diego was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and never pushy. He took the time to answer all our questions and offered great suggestions based on his expertise in sofa design. The pricing is reasonable, especially considering you can fully customize your sofa: size, fabric, color, cushion firmness, depth, and even the feet! His customer service was outstanding, and we left feeling confident about our purchase. Diego clearly stands by the quality of their products and genuinely cares about his customers. Highly recommend!
The wonderful family that owns custom sofa co. made my couch dreams come true. I had the best experience visiting the store and choosing every detail. I have a 5 month old and a Rhodesian ridgeback who refuses to lay on the floor. Not only is the couch beautiful it’s also very durable and comfortable. The micro fiber wipes clean and all the covers are removable and washable. You get to choose every detail down to the stitching on the cushions. I can not recommend them enough and I can’t wait until I need to get another.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Maya, Diego, and the couch of my dreams that they created for us. We loved everything about the experience of working with them and our couch is FABULOUS. Dream couch. Way better than any of the big furniture stores, online couch sellers, etc. The showroom has tons of options and plenty to see in person. Lots of fabric swatches and they were able to walk us through what would be good for keeping things clean, etc. They were able to cut our couch to the inch, which allowed us to get exactly the size we wanted and need for our living room. Cushion options are comfy and good quality. I wanted something that was stylish but ALSO extremely lazy girl comfy. I care a lot about what things look like, but it was still even more a priority for me to get a comfortable couch. Custom Sofa Co. totally delivered. I'm very happy with the couch cushions, which are comfy, the right size visually, and just all around great to sit and lounge on. The price of the couch was perfect. Very reasonable for what we got from them and, honestly, almost too cheap when you compare it to the couches you can order online. My mom was shocked that we spent only about $2250 including delivery for a 9ft custom couch. This couch is so obviously good quality and comfort and the price was very very good. The warranty is also generous. Delivery was very easy. The team they hired for us did a great job and delivery was a reasonable and fair price. Our couch was in our home in under three weeks from when we walked into their shop and ordered it. Last but not least, I loved that we could work with a local, family owned business. It felt right and, from start to finish, this was a phenomenal experience. Get your couch here!!! 😍😍😍
