I always enjoy visiting Daisy Chain Books; it’s fun, beautiful, and quirky. It’s hit or miss whether I buy a book, as the majority of the books are used books (in great shape). But I can easily spend an hour in there browsing 😊 My friends and I have taken many fun pictures outside and inside the store! It’s a wonderful literary experience.
A beautiful space with very welcoming and kind staff! They’ve truly got something for everyone here. Also—I remember when the store was a bookmobile visiting UofA campus in 2019! My first experience of this great store!! I will definitely be coming here again to find some more good reads.

The folks at Daisy Chain have done an exceptional job of really going that extra mile to make this place an experience. I've never been to a book store with such a friendly and easily understandable layout. Jenn also made our time there that much more enjoyable. I subscribe to the store's newsletter and follow them on social media. This was my fifth time into the store. I was greeted by the friendly sales associate who was greeting everyone and providing recommendations to those who were looking for them. I enjoyed browsing and listening to her converse with the other customers. I made a purchase and went to the counter. I told her that I had been in the store 4 previous times with friends and on my own and had never been greeted or felt overly welcome which was weird because I want to become the store's best friend based on their media/newsletter and owner. The look of the disappointment on her face was so real. She said that all staff take their jobs seriously and hated to hear that I didn't feel welcome and brought over another employee and told her and she too looked stricken. The service I received plus this empathy erased all previous feelings of being in the store on off days. I was super happy with the selection and as always love the yellow and recommendations. Sorry for the long review but sometimes perception isn't always reality. I look forward to shopping again when I am back in the city.
What a wonderful experience visiting Daisy Chain Book Co! A true treasure tucked away on the corner of - The Shops at High Street. I had never visited Daisy Chain before today and I was so impressed! There was salt on the stairs leading down to the entrance, I felt completely safe navigating them. I entered the storefront and entered into a brightly coloured wonderland of stacks and rows of books. Immediately I was drawn to brightly coloured covers toting romance and adventure. Investigating a little further, they had a few local products, branded mugs and shirts. Coffee and chocolate. Stickers and creams. Towards the back they had a sweet children's section with board books for littles and learn to read 📚 books divided by age and reading level. I went overboard and picked up some great Christmas gifts. The lovely clerk helped me pick out a book after I named a few of the favourite titles of my hard to shop for daughter and she suggested a book I immediately added to my stack. Thank you Daisy Chain Books! I will definitely be back soon!
