I really enjoy visiting this place when I’m in Dallas, especially in the spring. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, with a large food area, cute souvenir shops, and plenty of local farmer products. It’s great to visit with family, but also perfect if you’re looking for some quiet “me time.”
If you need a break and you love books, coffee, fresh fruits and vegetables, a good pizza or just walk around, this is your place. It was cold, but we had a great time. The coffee and hot chocolate at Palmieri Café is so good. The Shed has really good stuff, honey, organic produce and meats. 100% recommended.
Amazing experience at Dallas Farmers Market! I absolutely love visiting the Dallas Farmers Market — it’s one of my favorite weekend spots in the city. The atmosphere is so lively and welcoming, with a perfect mix of local farmers, food vendors, artisans, and small businesses. You can really feel the community vibe here. The produce section is always fresh, colorful, and full of variety. I’ve picked up everything from juicy peaches and organic greens to handmade honey and fresh flowers. The local farmers are super friendly and happy to share tips about their products or how they’re grown. Inside The Market building, there’s such a great range of food options. It’s the perfect place to come hungry and try a little bit of everything. The coffee spots and dessert stalls are a must-try too! Parking is pretty convenient, especially if you come earlier in the day. There’s plenty of shaded seating areas where you can relax, enjoy your food, and listen to live music on weekends. It’s also very clean and well maintained, which makes the overall experience even better. If you’re visiting Dallas or even a local looking for a fun and fresh weekend plan, the Dallas Farmers Market is a must-visit. It perfectly captures the local flavor, creativity, and spirit of the community. I always leave with a smile, full stomach, and a few new favorites to bring home! 🌿🍓🥖
First time there and it was better than expected. Locally sourced food and handmade goods and treats. Had a great day and will be back. Pumpkins were EVERYWHERE and I'm lover of all things Fall so it was heavenly
Absolutely loved my time at the Dallas Farmers Market! From the bustling energy of Sunday afternoon to the delightful variety of vendors, this place is a gem in the heart of Dallas. Inside, the 26,000 sq ft food hall and artisanal vendor space is alive with cafés, local restaurants, gift boutiques, and specialty food shops open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. On the weekends, The Shed opens as an open-air pavilion (Saturdays 9–5, Sundays 10–5) where farmers, ranchers, and food artisans bring seasonal produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and more. The variety is impressive, from fresh fruits and vegetables to artisan crafts and made-to-order meals. Add in live music, community vibes, the joy of sampling, and friendly local faces, and every turn feels like a discovery. The only downside? Parking. It’s on-site and paid, but during peak times (like Sunday afternoons), it’s nearly impossible to find a spot. Arrive earlier or be prepared to walk a bit. But truly, this place is a must-visit for locals and visitors alike. Whether you’re a foodie, lover of local crafts, or just in the mood for a fun, sensory adventure, bring your appetite, your sense of wonder (and maybe your walking shoes).
