De Smash Burger is a great spot in downtown Austin for a classic smash burger. Malik always provides excellent service, and his food is consistently awesome. It’s a food truck off 6th Street, and it’s become our go-to place after Packers games. Highly recommend if you’re craving a solid smash burger.

This place is absolutely fire!! Malek is the coolest ever and he makes sure you’re taken care of with the amazing meal you order there. I def recommend going to this spot and I guarantee you won’t regret it. Thank you, Malek and team!! Btw I got a hot dog with cheese fries and it’s soooo good!!! Check it out when you can!
Stumbled upon this place by happenstance! And what a find! The "De smash burger" on their menu is one of the best smash burgers I have had in this city. The patty is flavorful, their cheese and condiments are tasty. It's perfect. I highly recommend it. We tried the cheeseburger burger as well, but it paled in comparison to the burst of flavors the smash burger had. I did, however, find it odd that the prices were not anywhere on the menu, and like a lot of food trucks, I suspect dynamic pricing. The smash burger with fries at the time of purchase was $15, which is pretty steep compared to a burger from another joint. Without fries, it's $13. The staff was super nice. They do have nice seats available, which are shared with a few other food trucks in the area. Everything on their menu is halal. #halal.
The smash burger I had here was quite literally the best burger I’ve ever had. Period. It was made hot and fresh. The seasoning on the fries was also fantastic. To top it off the owner was extremely kind! Definitely will be back for another lunch!
