We had an awesome time training our puppy with Alena that we ended up paying for advanced obedience lessons. Ford learned heel, place, loose leash walking, auto sit/down, how to hold a down stay and so much more. We also ended up putting ford into a daycare with trainer Emily who helped work with ford on overcoming his fear of other dogs. Ford now acts neutral around dogs, doesn’t hide between our legs or try and jump up us. He will play with dogs here and there now as well. We do daycare for him twice a week with Emily on top of our weekly training sessions with Alena. We saw so many improvements with ford. He now acts like a whole new dog. They both took their time working with ford and focusing on his needs and what could benefit him. It is truly amazing seeing a 8 week old puppy who was all over the place turn into this well behaved and trained 7 month old puppy. We can’t say enough great things about this Company ! If you end up with either one of them just know you are in the best hands !!
We have been with Rachel since Dolly was 8 weeks old (she’s now 6 months!) and she has been AMAZING to work with. We are so very grateful that we were paired with her! She’s been very responsive even when it’s late at night and her suggestions have been spot on. Dolly is a very stubborn girl and a very big girl. She was so bad at jumping and nipping at us and after we got her back from the board and train she hasn’t done it (jumping) since! She does nip some still playfully but she’s a puppy so it’s expected! But not as bad as before and she will listen now when we tell her no. I would recommend her to anyone!
We had a wonderful time training with Alena!! We have a rescue pit/lab mix which has strong prey drive for squirrels and hadn’t had enough socialization with other dogs. She was always pulling as hard as she could to chase them. She didn’t react to any treats or our recall while walking outside. After training with Alena, she has stopped chasing squirrels and she started to look at us during walks even without calling her name!! She has learned many commands such as ‘heel’ and ‘place’ and is able to execute them perfectly! We really appreciate all of the hard work and care!
We had our 1 year old basset hound Ruthie work with Rachel on a 3 week board and train. Ruthie is a very excitable dog when it comes to meeting new people and she would jump and bark uncontrollably when people came into our home and was a leash puller on walks when people were around. After working with Rachel, Ruthie has learned how to manage her excitement and patience and she knows she needs to make good decisions like not barking/jumping if she wants all the good pets! Rachel has been great with communication and with any questions we have post board and train and continues to help with Ruthie's training if there's any areas we feel she needs more work on!
Rachel and the Dean's List K9 crew are truly amazing! We paired with Trainer Rachel, she helped our family regain confidence in having a fulfilled happy life with Yuki. We learned through Rachel that Yuki was capable of learning tasks that enriched all aspects of our lives. I am forever grateful for your time and dedication you poured into my family.
