I love their plant selections, but customer service is practically nonexistent. I spent over an hour wandering around, and not one person asked if I needed assistance (and it wasn’t because they were busy helping other customers… I was the only customer there.) The overall atmosphere felt very unwelcoming. I got the impression that they don’t like customers. I approached two different employees with a question. Both times, I was given an unfriendly, short and cursory answer without an offer of further assistance. I left without buying anything, and wondering how they manage to stay in business. How sad, because I would much rather give my business to a locally owned nursery than to a chain like Pikes or Lowe’s!
Had a great time wandering and selecting some new perennials for my natural area! One of the staff was able to look at the pictures of the natural area and make some great recommendations. I feel the prices were on target and supporting local, helpful businesses is a plus. Bonus? The place is actually fun to browse.
Me and my husband had the best time visiting Dearness Nursery. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and their setup and plants were absolutely beautiful 😍 we of course had to leave with a few things.!!! We will be back I highly recommend ♥️
I’ve been breezing by this place for years and have never take the time to stop in. Honeeeee .... yyyyy !!! This is a Field Trip all day long 😅😂🤣!!! They have EVERYTHING you can imagine from fresh herbs, vegetables, shrubs, flowers, indoor/outdoor plants, and unique and rare species of trees and plants. The garden ornaments, planter pots, accessories are different from what you see inside the big box stores. They also have amendments, garden supplies, landscape pavers, and so much more. Got a couple hours to kill ? Here’s your Spot !! They are super nice here, prices are fair and plants are healthy looking and vibrant. Buy Local, support businesses in the area you live in ... they appreciate it!
I loved this plant nursery! They had a great selection of indoor and outdoor plants, as well as trees and bushes. I also liked their decor and the signs are very cute and funny. There are many plant nurserys throughout Charlotte but this one is by far one of my favorites for their selection and sense of humor.
