Had a delicious anniversary dinner here. Restaurant was very busy when we arrived, but we had a reservation and were seated promptly. Had one of their special drinks, the meatball appetizer to share, wild boar gnocchi and Stella Fettuccine for mains and both were delicious! I had to take half the gnocchi home with me so portion-wise it was good for 2 meals! :) their flower pot bread was hot and fresh too, and though we couldn't figure out the dips that came with the bread, we very much enjoyed them. Didn't have to wait long for our food either and we were served a complimentary dessert (we chose the cannoli which was the perfect end to the meal) for our anniversary. :) the only slight negative to our night was the parking, as the lot was very busy but that isn't the fault of the restaurant.

Went here for our anniversary. Staff was amazing, food was outstanding. Love the flower pot bread. Have been coming here for over 20 yrs and it never disappoints. Had the crispy gnocchi, artichoke dip and pineapple pizza with hot honey. Plus some cheesecake for dessert.

We went to Del’s Italian Kitchen for the first time recently, and I’d highly recommend booking a reservation. It fills up fast! The first time we stopped by as a trio, there were no tables available, but reservations are super easy to make online or by phone. The second time, we booked for two at 6 p.m. on a Wednesday. It was calm at first but got busier around 6:30–7:00 p.m., when the noise level became moderate but still comfortable enough for conversation. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The host greeted us kindly, and both she and our waitress asked if we were celebrating anything (which we were, my sister’s birthday!). Drinks came out fairly quickly, within 15–20 minutes. They have a nice selection of non-alcoholic options, and you can even order their cocktails “virgin” for a reduced price ($10 instead of $15). There are also sodas, floats, and lemonades if you want something simple. I got a virgin Caesar, which was loaded with toppings. It was pretty good. Before our meal, we were surprised with complimentary flower pot bread; literally a loaf baked in a flower pot! It came with cinnamon and garlic butter on the side and was soft, warm, and delicious. Definitely a heavier start, but worth it. For our appetizer, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which was outstanding. Creamy, cheesy, and flavorful, with fresh bread on the side. Highly recommend. For mains, I had the Stella Fettuccine (seafood fettuccine), which was rich and well-seasoned. The sauce was excellent, though a bit inconsistent — some large tomato chunks, some tiny ones — and while the shrimp and mussels were great, the scallops were quite small and few in number. I didn’t notice much crab either, but overall the dish was still delicious and a good portion size. My sister had the Vespa pizza, which was fantastic: thin crust, savory, and perfectly balanced with a balsamic glaze. She added garlic sauce on the side, which paired beautifully. Because it was her birthday, she got a complimentary free dessert. She picked creme brulee (which came out with a candle on top!). We both ended up getting one, and it was excellent — silky and rich, though we could’ve done without the shortbread crumble on top. Throughout dinner, our waitress checked in several times and was friendly, though understandably a bit rushed as it got busier. The ambience, though, really stood out. Cozy, moody, and beautifully decorated for the holidays, with candles on each table and festive decor throughout the restaurant. Overall, Del’s is one of the best Italian spots in Kitchener for both atmosphere and food. For two people, including drinks, an appetizer, mains, and dessert, the bill came to about $110 before tip, which felt reasonable for the quality and experience. Highly recommend for a cozy dinner out, especially for a date night or celebration.

Arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday without reservation and they were already completely full and had no suggested wait time. However after a bit of digging, they were able to fit us in between some reservations - We really appreciated it!! The food was absolutely delicious!! Everything was very fresh and homemade. The bread for the table was a great surprise. It came with fresh whipped garlic butter and cinnamon butter - both very yummy. And when we cut into the bread, steam billowed out; it was clearly fresh out of the oven. I would definitely eat here again, great food, service and ambiance!

Met up wit a friend for dinner here this past weekend. The parking lot is shared by the Del's, the steakhouse and the hotel. There's plenty of parking. To enter you can go into the main doors (below the sign for the steakhouse) then go down the circular staircase or find the outdoor staircase and walk through the patio to find the hostess station. The service wasn't prompt but it was friendly. It was really nice to have a full plant based menu available to choose from and they can also accommodate gluten free requests. The pizza had nice flavour combinations. The patio has a nice set up and heaters.
