Went here several years ago to see Dr. Horner for terrible intensely itchy rashes I was getting on my arms, shoulders, and torso, after waiting months for a referral and appointment. It was very disappointing. She was somewhat rushed and dismissive and seemed bored by my case, and she gave me feedback I already knew from google, such as "Don't use any perfumes". (I didn't.) I found out on my own months later when I developed other symptoms that I have a gluten intolerance. Stopped gluten, and the rashes disappeared. I still remember this frustrating experience. I wish she'd tried harder to scratch below the surface to figure out what I was dealing with.
Took my son here for acne problems and he was nervous because he expected them to poke and prod, and pop acne on his face. We saw the nurse practitioner there and she was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and took her time making sure that he understood his concerns were addressed. She didn't even touch his face. Face. She just had him pull off his mask and look at his skin. And she started out with a really simple routine that he could handle with some mild prescription ointments and antibiotic medication. I also brought all of the over the counter face items he had been using so that she could see what our at home treatment was
