Sylvia has made a believer out of me for facials. I came in the first time for a regular facial, and I keep going back for her recommendations for my skin care, facials, and skin care products. The texture and tone of my skin has definitely changed for the better. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing, and when you leave you feel like a different person!
Sylvia was amazing. She talked to me and was letting me know what she was doing on my skin, she made me feel so comfortable. This was the best facial I ever had and I had my share of facials around the states. I had the green tea acne facial because I had a recent break out on my skin and she also gave me tips on how to keep up with my skin care. Will definitely be booking with her again and letting my friends know.
I found Sylvia when looking up local aesthetician’s in Sacramento. I originally spoke with her on the phone and based on her great energy over the phone I decided to book. I’ve had many facials over the years, however, this was hands down the best facial experience I’ve ever had. Sylvia is very knowledgeable in what she does. She listened to my concerns about my skin and took her time in explaining each process of the facial. If that wasn’t enough, the massage in between was even more relaxing than a full body massage. I couldn’t be more happy with my experience and can’t wait to go back for another appointment.
My experience at Dermessential exceeded all my expectations of what a facial could be. The spa itself has a calm and serene vibe that made it easy for me to relax. Sylvia is friendly, kind, and professional. She was attentive of my needs from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left. Throughout the facial, she checked in often about the temperature of the room, any allergies or skin sensitivities I might have, and how the many natural products she used on my face felt, ensuring that I was as comfortable as possible. The facial itself was very satisfying. I struggle with acne and the green tea treatment was helpful in calming down my acne flare up and redness. I was worried that the pimple extractions would be painful, but Sylvia was very gentle and checked in often to make sure I was not feeling pain or discomfort. Prior to performing each step of the treatment, she would tell me exactly what she was going to do so that I was fully aware. The treatment left my face feeling refreshed and helped manage my breakouts. As the mask was working its magic on my face, Sylvia massaged my shoulders, arms, and legs. Her massage was one of the best I have experienced and it’s no surprise seeing as she has been trained in both skincare and massage. The entire experience was exactly what I would want from a spa treatment. I left with soft, glowing skin, my body felt rejuvenated, and my mind felt relaxed. Sylvia delivers holistic care with her facials, and I already cannot wait until my next session with her!
Throughly enjoyed my facial with Sylvia! I came in for a regular facial and had a great experience. Sylvia was very considerate about my skin concerns and gave me amazing insights on how to improve my skin. Her years of experience is definitely reflected in her work. Couldn't recommend her enough, if you have any doubts.. don't! Her schedule is limited so I would book an appointment as soon as you can. Looking forward to my next facial with Sylvia!
