Was not impressed with this place at all. Says it is a winery/tasting room. I guess that's what it is, but not really. The wines we tried we ok but nothing I thought was great. Did not try any of the spirits as that is not what we we looking for. My biggest complaint is that there were political items showing around the business. I am not one to judge about anyone's political position but I don't feel it is appropriate in a place of business. Would not recommend.

I recently visited Desert Rock Winery & Distillery in Scottsdale and came away genuinely impressed. The tasting room blends wine and spirits beautifully, wines with depth, craft whiskeys and vodkas that feel distinct, and a relaxed environment that lets you enjoy without feeling rushed. I sat on their outdoor “tiki porch,” which gave a laid-back yet elevated feel, and enjoyed live music as I sampled. The events add real energy, and the staff clearly know their craft. For a fun, flavorful, and high-quality tasting experience near Phoenix, this place is a standout.

Desert Rock Winery & Distillery was a great stop during our recent vacation to Scottsdale. We walked in fully intending to do a wine tasting which was amazing! The wines are made well, they finish perfect and have a great balance of flavor & tannins. We also added on a spirits tasting too, some really great Rum and Whiskey varieties.. My husband likes Bourbon and loved the options they had. I like flavored liquor so I tried the ones with vanilla, caramel & butterscotch, yum!! Paul was a great host and even when a larger group came in, he still made sure we were taken care of. The tasting room is a bit unassuming but had a fun & comfortable vibe. I highly recommend for both wine and spirits!

Very casual. A Locals kind of place. Good music. Owner very nice. Gets crowded later in the day. Wines are okay. Did a tasting there were a couple we liked. We sat at the bar and when people were coming in you could tell most knew each other. Nice conversations, humor, but be careful because some of the regulars are pretty judgy out loud. It was fun but towards the end they were making me a little uncomfortable. However, They were kind enough to make suggestions for finding dinner. Atmosphere was on the rugged side...but nice. Probably won't return though as I felt like one of the regulars that came in were starting to pick at us a little. Which is okay to a certain extent.... There are a lot of wineries around so... But you may really love it. Worth going to see.

Absolutely wonderful ambiance .Super dog friendly which is a major plus for us. We did flights of the wine and they have wonderful wines and can't wait to come back to try more. They had amazing live music. And the owners Paul and Shannon were absolutely amazing and super friendly along with their staff. Highly recommend!!
