One of my favorite places to explore in Winston Salem. Here you’ll mostly find vintage clothing & accessories and a small selection of home goods, but you’ll also find some handmade goods as well including wall art, jewelry, and more. If you’re exploring Winston Salem, this is must!
A wonderful place where walking around feels like stepping back into childhood, surrounded by vintage charm.
An absolute must! I took a day trip out with a friend of mine to explore Winston Salem, and we were super pleased that Design Archives Vintage and Handmade Emporium was open on Labor Day! My friend found a beautiful vintage skirt & there were so many treasures. I have never seen this much variety in vintage clothing options under any roof. I took many pictures to help show you what they offer. My advice is to check their hours and just go! PS there is the most superb bookstore and attached coffee & tea shop nearby. Loved my visit to this store. Happened upon it accidentally, but found all its odds and ends right up my alley. It's true, " One's junk is truly another's treasure.". Lots of different items to see, and a little something for everyone artsy or nostalgic.
What a fun place!! So many different stalls of vintage and unique clothing and accessories! I love unique things and my shopper’s radar was tingling! Definitely worth a walkthrough when stopping into Winston-Salem!
