I had a great experience with Discount Tire and truly appreciate their honesty and professionalism. I came in with a flat tire after another place told me the tire was not fixable and immediately tried to schedule an appointment for a replacement that would have cost me over $300. Since the tire wasn’t losing air badly, I decided to get a second opinion — and I’m so glad I did. At Discount Tire, Raphael inspected the tire and told me right away that it was absolutely fixable. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. They made an appointment for me the next day and had everything repaired in about 30 minutes. They earned me as a customer because they didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need - just honest advice and quality work. I’m very grateful and highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable service and trustworthy people.
Called to get new tires for two of my cars, person answered the phone and asked if they could put me on a brief hold. I just hung up after waiting 23 minutes. My guess is the 8 tires were going to cost more than 3k. Must be nice not to need customers. Called Les Schwab picked up quickly and getting new tires on tomorrow. Pretty simple they don’t want your business, go elsewhere.
Edgar and the blond kid with long hair and glasses were exceptional and outstanding in time management, attitude, service, and I highly recommend. I never really leave review unless highly disappointed by grievance, or by means necessary to recognize the type of teamwork and work ethic that most businesses fundamentally lack this day and age. They were by lack of a better phrase, refreshing to see men at work with simple but tedious and observantly busy.... However they were calm, patient, answered every question, were on a tight schedule but with optimism and joy offered a hand to repair a quick valve stem issue where by other companies would give me some insideous falsehood and disregard. Two minute fix for my warn tires, did not ask for a cent, even when offered, yes they are a business, but it is in agreement I will be purchasing my new tires...I officially do not want any other company touching the tires on any vehicle of mine. They are thorough, address safety with practicality, and are simple men who know their job and do so well. For the first time, honesty, without resistance or persistence or ambition for loyalty to an empty service. They know why they are there, they know what they are doing, they are practical, it is what it is, and they are there to provide the service and offer assistance . No schemes or used car lot salesmen vibes for your tires...no overpriced resolutions , just options , recommendations, and logistics that are self explainitory. Good service, really doesn't need advertisement, and in necessity, they stick to basics and best options. Thank you for living up to my unrealistic expectation of doing and performing at a level of honesty that you can tightly claim. Proper or correct application of intelligence and experience, quality is with value on this one, not volume or quantity or quotas. I'm impressed. I wish you'd venture to auto mechanics and transmissions. Lol then you'd fix the old repoir of the cars reputation and experience as a whole . Thank you
We had a horrible experience with the Discount Tires in Carson City. We left there without receiving services and made an appointment to bring our car to Reno. What a difference! The staff is kind and they don't belittle their customers. We made an appointment (as we had for Carson City). However this time we were attended in a very timely manner!! The staff communicates clearly, which is super important!! Super appreciative of the attention to detail, the kindness, and the professionalism! It was definitely worth the drive to come here!
Austin is we very thorough, kind, and efficient. By far the best experience I’ve had dealing with tires. Not once did he try and upsell me on tires. Just gave me reasonable recommendations and didn’t push. Not only did they give me a free tire repair for stock tires but they were incredibly fast. It took Dolan Toyota over 2 hours to do what they did in 45 minutes.
