bought another new set of tires a month ago...picked up a nail, and plugged it myself. Wanted a patch, and they refused, saying I needed to buy a new tire, lol...was not on sidewall. Took it to another tire shop, and they happily patched it for 20 bucks, completely destroying the myth that they will patch a tire for free. I guess next time I'll order tires online, and take it to a local tire shop
Got here at 5:30 and one of the tech/Sales rep Maria help me out had a nail and got it fixed also I forgot to mention to her that I need a balance because ford fail to balance my tires she was very helpful didn’t mind adding the Balancing on the tires I will buy another set of tires form this place thumps up Discount Tires Garland !!!! 👍🏽👍🏽
Had an appointment the other day at 2pm. Needed a leak fixed to see if my certificates woould apply unfortuantely they werent since the leak was fixed. I needed 2 new tires so i got them and also a tire rotation and balance. I also needed an alignment checked and i was told it was a free checkup and a charge to do an alignment would be about $90 bucks. As i waited i noticed everyone else was coming and going and i was still here after 3 hrs.. the 1st hr, my vehicle was not looked at, at all. The 2nd hr the tires got rotated and new tires installed. The 3rd hr, i waited for an alignment. After about 3hrs of waiting i had to leave. I couldnt wait any longer and spend the whole day here. I asked for a refund on the alignment. The refund didnt go thru, i beleive to a system error and about 3 days later Cruz contacted me to ask about the alignment. Cruz is really good at his job, he did walk me thru everything and im going to give the business the benefit of the doubt that it was a busy day even with a appoinment set. Today is 10.23.25 so im currently waiting on the alignment. I have came in at 4.15pm with an appoinment. I believe if i came in 3 days ago and the company left me unsatisfied with the sevice and the waiting that me coming in today there should be some kind of urgency to have me seen and satisfied to fix the prior encounter. Currently 45 min of waiting and my car has not been serviced. Had to go and speak to someone about the whole situation and now my car is getting looked at for an alignment. Smh. Safe to say that even when its not busy here, your appointment time might be long.
Went to this location, Saturday, October 4 for a flat repair. First of all, Matt I’m assuming it was the manager claimed he couldn’t fix the tire due to the fact of how the screws were replaced in the tire. I asked if the spare could put on and he said yes. I have 22 inch rims on my truck and there’s a spacer that goes in the back of the rim for the rim to fit flush up against the truck rotor. Whoever put the spare on did not take the plastic piece off of the rim, but instead put the spare over the plastic piece which in all actuality should’ve been removed during the installation of this process. So on Sunday, October 5, thankful to God, a lady in her husband pulled on the side of us and let us know that our tire was wobbling. We go to a tire shop and that’s where the piece that’s supposed to be in the rim was in between the spare tire which fits flush up against the rotor was discovered. So if anyone has rims that is required to have a spacer, please make sure you communicate that with discount tire. Because on my way to work, I have to get on the highway, and this conversation could’ve went a totally different direction.
Set an appointment, was there 10 minutes early for a tire rotation and balance, was done within 15 mins. Then I asked about a alignment which I needed it took1 hr and 3o mins. Ok. To get told when I went to go pay my battery was dead and they jumped it off for me. And trying to sell me windshield wipers. After I had no problems of having the car for 1 year, and I got back in the car with dirty fingerprints on my arm rest and my seat. Just a bunch of young kids working, and they don't appreciate nothing. I think I'm done dealing with Discount Tire.
