My experience with John who repaired my Sony 300 CD Player was outstanding. John is a consummate professional who immediately understood what needed to be done and did it in one day. He is a very personable and knowledgeable technician who has decades of seasoned experience in electronics and who is very reasonable in the fee he charges. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of electronic repairs.
Wasn’t able to pursue with the repair but so honest that John advised to just buy a pre owned one than charging me more than it cost for just diagnostic work alone. Spend so much time with him with good and knowledgeable talk despite of being busy and non stop phone ringing.
John’s your guy. I’ve reached out to him on multiple occasions for repairs on my vintage guitar amps and he’s been both thorough and timely with whatever I’ve asked of him. I love to brag to my friends about a completely trashed pawn shop tube amp I brought to him for repairs - it’s been sounding outstanding for years without a single issue ever since I’ve taken it to him. He’s also great at explaining everything to someone like me who’s completely uneducated in his field. On top of this, he’s a pleasurable person and an honest businessman. What a wonderful experience! John knew exactly how to repair my Technics receiver, Canton speakers and more! This is a system I got for graduation in 1979! Sounds better now than then! Plus he taught me about the settings on the receiver; never knew how to properly set. Highly recommend! He’s also very nice, interesting and is very fair as fair as price to repair. I’ll definitely recommend Dr.Electronics to everyone!
