I recently had the pleasure of acquiring a poodle from Sandra and Michael and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment I made contact with them to the day I brought Onyx home; every aspect of the process was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. First and foremost, the welfare of their dogs is clearly their top priority. Upon visiting their facility, I was impressed by the clean and well-maintained environment in which their dogs are raised. It was evident that each dog received ample love, attention, and socialization from the breeder and their staff. This nurturing environment undoubtedly contributes to the excellent temperament and demeanor exhibited by their dog. Throughout the entire process, Sandra remained transparent and communicative. They provided regular updates on the progress of my puppy, including photos and videos, which only served to increase my excitement and anticipation. Additionally, they were readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had, both before and after bringing my puppy home. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Dog Academy of NC, LLC highly enough to anyone in search of a puppy. Their dedication, commitment to quality, and customer service set them apart as a breeder of excellence. Thanks to them, I now have a beloved companion who brings joy to my life every day.

Was a great and eye opening experience for my girlfriend and myself. Taught me a lot about myself not only the dog. I'd say Michael trains you just as much as your dog. We have a Yorkie puppy and she was in need of basic obedience training. She wasn't bad before. We just had to learn how to properly coach her I'd say. My favorite part was he used a correctional device paired with your affection. With a balance of the two I find it much better than having to keep treats on you with your every move. Learned a-lot and about to board her here for our upcoming trip. ( A perk after training). I looked over the reviews and can say many of them are misleading. Glad I overlooked them and met with Michael! I wanted to include a post training of Peach demonstrating the "place" command lol!

I can’t say it enough how amazing this place is!! We are first time dog owners and getting our doggo from here was the best decision ever. It’s only been a little over a month. Our pup was practically trained for us. We never have any problem and he does so well. Touching his paws when cleaning him upon entering the house, it makes me especially happy that his crate is his safe space and sleeps there all through the night without having to lock it. We did exactly as they told us and he only chews on his toys, loves car rides and doesn’t mind other animals, children and social/crowded places. I would definitely recommend getting your puppy here!

We got our Puppy, Stitch, when she was 8 weeks old from friends of ours who were breeders. She was a very active puppy but she was also a biter, was aggressive, and had myriad other behavioral issues. It got so bad for me that I told my husband that we would probably have to give her back. Insert Michael Ward and the Dog Academy of North Carolina. Michael was recommended to us by our dentist and he has been a God send since the moment we contacted them. He and his wife, Sandra, were professional and extremely informative throughout this whole process. We decided to have her boarded for the 2 week training and it was the best decision EVER! My husband and I were able to visit often and were shown how to properly train once she comes home. Michael always answered our questions was very patient with us and Stitch. Stitch has returned home and the difference in her behavior is astronomical. She is like a brand new puppy. We are continuing to use the techniques that Michael taught us and are looking forward to our puppy's continued improvement. I would recommend Michael to anyone that needs services for their dog. A million thank you's to Michael, Sandra, and the Dog Academy of North Carolina for helping our family and our puppy!!!!

Nous avons contacté le Dog Academy lorsque nous avons acheté un Briard Service Dog pour notre fils et l'entreprise a fermé. Nous étions supposés l'obtenir à un an, entièrement entraîné, et ils nous ont donné un grand chiot non entraîné de 3 mois pesant environ 35 livres. Je l'ai eu pendant une heure, et il a mâché une ceinture de sécurité de ma voiture. Il a aussi fait ses besoins dans ma voiture et a mâché tout autour de mon fils. C'était mon pire cauchemar. Je lui ai laissé un gros bazar. Nous n'avions jamais eu de chien et je me sentais personnellement perdu et impuissant face à la gestion de notre chien. Je ne suis pas du tout une personne qui aime les chiens. Michael Ward a été notre véritable salut. Il n'a pas seulement entraîné notre chien mais a aussi consacré d'innombrables heures à travailler avec moi pour m'apprendre comment le gérer et en prendre soin. Nous l'avons maintenant à la maison depuis presque un mois. Nous étudions actuellement la prochaine étape de l'entraînement de notre chien afin qu'il devienne un chien de service à temps plein pour notre fils Charles. D'autres dresseurs et de nombreuses personnes sont étonnés par le bon comportement actuel de notre chien. Le plus fou, c'est que notre chien remplit déjà bon nombre des exigences de départ pour les compétences de base. Il est habitué à être dans sa caisse et n'a aucun problème de propreté. Il peut venir, s'asseoir, rester, marcher à mes côtés en public sans problème. Il n'aboie pas, ne poursuit rien et ne saute sur personne. Il est assez calme dans la caisse et à la maison la plupart du temps. Nous avons encore des difficultés avec le mordillement du chiot et l'hyperactivité liée à son âge, mais à part cela, c'est tout. Grâce à Michael, notre chien apporte de la joie à notre famille et, plus important, est déjà un ami bien élevé pour notre fils et notre famille. Si vous avez besoin d'aide avec votre chien ou si vous êtes un premier propriétaire de chien dans la région Triangle, je vous conseillerais vraiment d'utiliser Dog Academy.
