We’re so grateful for Doghouse Training and Taylor! Blue did his puppy training here — working on early socializing, confidence building, and leash manners — and we saw such a positive difference right from the start. After Blue had a difficult incident with another dog walker, it really changed how he felt around other dogs and is dog selective, and finding a safe place for him became a big concern for us. Boarding him anywhere again took a lot of trust — but with Taylor, we know he’s in the best hands. She’s professional, friendly, and genuinely cares for every dog like her own. Blue is always happy and relaxed when he’s with her, and that peace of mind means everything to us. We fully trust Doghouse Training and can’t recommend them enough for anyone looking for a caring, experienced, and trustworthy trainer and boarding option. 💙🐾

Taylor and Kyle are amazing ! Taylor has worked with several of our dogs and helped train us as well ( I think we needed it more than the dogs ) We have a Dutch Shepard and I was covered in bruises because I couldn't properly control her! Within a short period of time Taylor showed us how to deal with this type of dog , helped us with our aggressive Siberian ( who fell madly in love with Taylor) now excited as we have added a King Shepard to our pack and start training this week with Taylor ! They are both very good with the dogs and have taught us so much ! Highly recommend !!

We can't say enough compliments about the Dog House Training Team, Kyle has been so patient with all of our questions around helping our girl Delta (16 months). She is our first Doberman who started out with extreme leash pulling and fear reactivity. We definitely were feeling frustrated and overwhelmed when we first started our training. With the helpful tools and 1:1 dog training from Kyle we now walk Delta with ease and have a better understanding of why she may be reacting a certain way. Her confidence is slowly improving and we understand consistency is key. We really enjoyed their group classes as well, which provided a nice introduction to walking past other dogs and understanding dog body language/owner handling. We recently left Delta for 10 days in the care of Kyle/Taylor, it was extremely nice to leave her with someone that knew all her quirks and behaviours. She came back to us with no new bad habits, if anything improvements in certain areas (win win). This decreased our anxiety and allowed us to have a restful holiday. Kyle also provided routine updates when needed and sent videos throughout the week. We would highly recommend utilizing their dog training services, both of them are very knowledgeable, easy to approach and accommodating. We will definetly be using their services again!

I have worked with Dog House Training Academy several times in the past year, and greatly appreciate their help with addressing my dog’s excited reactivity. When I first met Taylor for our one-on-one I instantly knew from her kind, calm energy that my young Doberman and I were in great hands. The training approach was flexible, and adjusted according to the particular challenges. We progressed from Taylor working with me and my puppy directly, to sessions with Taylor and her dog or Taylor and Kyle with multiple dogs, to some on-leash sessions with other Dog House clients and their dogs, to group walks at an off-leash park. Taylor and Kyle also have a great knowledge of canine body language, helping to read the situation and address or avoid many issues before they escalate. I would not hesitate to recommend their training sessions and board-and-train services. They treat the dogs in their care as one of their own, and I look forward to working with them in the future. We feel very grateful to have them in our lives, and our Dobie Drake loves them!!!

We have a 2 year old German Shepard, after working with 3 other dog trainers in Calgary, they only make things worse for our German shepherd. He became fearful and extremely reactive to people and other dogs. It got to the point we couldn’t even take him into public or even for a walk. We started working with Taylor, after 2 weeks of training with her, our German shepherd became a completely new dog. Dog house training academy has helped us with his reactivity, leash pulling, barking at the window, and finally being able to take him into public. It has been 2 months now that we have been working with Taylor and we will forever be thankful for her. We started losing hope in ever getting help with our dog until we met Taylor. I would highly recommend Taylor to anyone who needs help with basic dog training to the extreme reactivity we were dealing with.
