Domain South is absolutely one of my favorite spots in Huntsville. It’s tucked away and so cute on the inside the decor and atmosphere are welcoming and warm. There’s a bar area and an outside dining area. It’s great in the summer. I typically sit at the bar, the bartenders are always warm and engaging and full of conversation if you so desire, the charcuterie boards are top notch. The duck is an absolute must. It’s my favorite. The cheese selection is fantastic and the wine is always great. We also started with oysters and they were phenomenal!!!! They also serve a mulled house wine and eggnog in the winter- you should try them. The charcuterie board was so large of a helping that we only got one entrée to share. The entrée we selected was the salmon with the gnocchi. It was tad saltier than I prefer, but my friend loved it. The salmon was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly. The only reason I didn’t give an additional star on atmosphere was because of a crying baby the entire visit. Typically, I try not to complain about those things because the restaurant can’t control it but goodness it was a lot to listen to.
Typically we do dinner here, which amazing! But finally was able to do lunch, and it was just an amazing as dinner. Highly recommend stopping here for dinner or lunch. If it is nice, they have the best patio over looking the park. They have a great drink selection for everyone.
This place was absolutely amazing!!! My husband and i went here for our 10 year anniversary. The food was so good. The guy who waited on us recommended things for us because we really didn't know much about the place other than they had charcuterie boards. Let me tell you that was THE BEST charcuterie board we've ever had! We plan on coming back soon for another visit. I highly recommend getting the turkey sandwich it's massive, along with the duck fat fries. I also recommend getting duck breast meat on the charcuterie board. Literally everything was so freaking good!!! We parked in the parking garage on Clinton Ave and walked around the corner to the place it's located by the blue strains inside of the double doors. Kinda confusing if you've never been to this area before. We called the restaurant to ask where to park and they were more than helpful. Everyone here is truly amazing and very nice. We greatly appreciate each and everyone of you
Domaine South is a must try, whether hanging with friends or a date night, give this gem a chance, it doesn't disappoint. Cozy atmosphere and excellent service. Jason offered superb knowledge of the massive wine selection. Full bar available for the cocktail lovers. The food was next level. Build your own charcuterie board, made to order burger, or should be illegal to serve it's so good whipped feta are a few favorites. Highly recommend reservations.
We had such a great experience at Domaine South in Huntsville! From start to finish, everything came together flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming ambiance that made the evening feel special. For dinner, we both ordered the Meat + Three Friday special with the Blackened Rainbow Trout as the main dish. The trout was cooked beautifully seasoned well, flaky, and perfectly balanced with the sides. Speaking of sides, we tried the Fried Mac & Cheese, North Alabama Collards, Cucumber Dill Salad, Farmers Market Succotash, and the Housemade Cornbread. Each one had its own personality the fried mac & cheese was indulgent and crispy on the outside, the collards had that Southern depth of flavor you expect, the cucumber dill salad was light and refreshing, the succotash tasted garden-fresh, and the cornbread tied it all together with just the right texture. The service was outstanding. Our server was attentive without hovering, and you could tell the staff really cared about creating a good dining experience. Pair that with a cozy yet modern ambiance, and it felt like the perfect spot for both a casual Friday brunch, a night out, or a special occasion. Overall, Domaine South is one of those places that makes you want to come back not just because the food is flavorful, but because the whole experience feels thoughtful and elevated. We will definitely be returning!
