Our dog always loved going to Double J when we were on vacation. He would fly out of the car the minute we stopped in the parking lot and then run straight to the front door. He did not have this reaction to some other places. The people who work here are friendly and good with dogs. Highly recommend Double J!

My family had an unfortunate experience that I feel obligated to share due to safety and neglect concerns. The condition my 4 dogs returned from this kennel in is repulsive. All 4 dogs came home from a 5 night stay absolutely filthy. One dog’s face was so crusty, She couldn’t even open her eyes. Our Golden doodle had poop mangled in his ENTIRE tail + coat. And our 2 elderly dogs have been abnormally violently ill for 2 days straight (this is possibly due to stress/anxiety but this is a first-time reaction). We had no choice but to take them to be professionally groomed and the groomer expressed concerns for their condition as well. I have genuine concerns they were poorly cared for and neglected. Additionally, there is a communication issue. We tried calling several times while our dogs were boarded and and it took 24+ hours to respond that “they are fine.” After the dogs came home, I personally tried calling and left multiple voicemail due to the above concerns about my animals being neglected. But when we called on a different phone number, they answered on the first ring. The owner quickly called us back from a blocked number and offered a refund but refused assistance with professional grooming or vet expenses for our older 2 dogs... He additionally tried to sway us from leaving a review by warning us he will generate a response to whatever poor review we leave. So, this is simply my authentic experience with this business. I will never leave my dogs in this facility again and I obviously don’t recommend it for others.

Our boy Toby loved this place. While on vacation this summer we dropped him off daily while we went and did our thing for a few hours. He absolutely loved it. It was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Huskies are escape artists and we never felt worried or unsure of his safety. We wouldn't hesitate to come again when we're back in the area.

We left our Daisy for 9 days and picked her up a tired and happy pup. We loved the Facebook pictures so we could check in on her and each picture her tail was wagging and she had a huge “smile” on her face. The facility is large and the kennels are clean! Love knowing our fur baby is well cared for while we are away!

If you’re looking for the best place to board your dog in Colorado, look no further!!!! This is hands down the best boarding location we’ve ever taken our dog! Not only was she excited coming into Double J Ranch for the first time but she was smiling and even attempting to leave our car when we left!? The level of care the staff provides is incredible! They learn about every dog who comes in and they are practically family now. We left our dog for over 9 days and usually we’re hesitant (especially from past experiences at other Boarding locations in the area) but it was clear from the photos and report from the staff that she had a blast. We will never take her anywhere else and I can’t recommend them enough!
