Five Bones Out of Five 🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴 Downtown Dogs – San Jose is hands down one of the best boarding experiences I’ve had in the area. I truly appreciate the level of care and oversight they provide—especially compared to other boarding facilities nearby. The fact that this location has staff on site 24/7 makes a huge difference and gives real peace of mind. The team is attentive, knowledgeable, and clearly experienced with dogs of different temperaments. My dog is well cared for, monitored, and treated as an individual, not just another kennel. I also really value their transportation service between locations. When my schedule is tight, being able to drop my dog off at Palo Alto and have her safely transported to San Jose for boarding has been incredibly helpful and seamlessly handled. Overall, the San Jose team is fantastic. The care, consistency, and professionalism here truly stand out. I’m very grateful to have found a boarding facility I trust completely.

We absolutely love Downtown Dogs (San Jose). We've recently started daycare and a boarding with them and they are by far the best. The webcams are fantastic if you're as obsessed with your fur baby as we are. Their staff is professional and warm and their facility is kept clean. They're great at stepping in when the play gets a bit rough and the boarding extras are fantastic. We wouldn't trust our pup with anyone else.

My nervous, anxious, scared of trucks, cars and men Australian cattle dog loves his time here even though the car ride there nearly destroys him. He might try to herd all the dogs while he’s there, but the staff are wonderful with him, gently correcting him and giving him all the pets he needs. And the dogs who love playing chase help him get all his energy out — at least for the next 24 hours!

What a fantastic place. We've been a customer for years. We use them for daycare 1 day per week to keep our dog social. Love the agility training and daily activities. He never minds being dropped off. We had to boarded him over night twice so it was fantastic having a familiar place as an option. He loves Amber and Jackie they're the best!!
