Subject: Disappointed by new aggressive billing practices I have been a patient at this office for some time, but my recent experience has been very discouraging. In the past, I appreciated that this office focused on patient care; my services were fully covered by insurance, and I was never asked for additional payments upfront. Unfortunately, the priority seems to have shifted from medicine to collections. During my last visit, I was pressured to pay additional fees before having the procedure done and —well before the office could even determine what my insurance would actually cover. It is frustrating to be treated like a transaction rather than a long-term patient. Being forced to pay out-of-pocket ahead of time, despite having a history of full coverage here, feels like a lack of trust and an unnecessary financial hurdle. While the medical care itself may be fine, the new management/billing approach makes the environment feel more like a high-pressure sales office than a healthcare provider. I hope they reconsider these policies for the sake of their regular patients. Like others mentioned here I would not ever recommend or return to this office.
I originally came to Dr. Vafaie in 2024 and was so happy my results with the peels and all her products. I suddenly experiencing bad acne and scars but with a couple months of consistent use of her products and peels, my skin has been the best it’s ever been!
Dr. Vafaie was actually able to assist me in correcting a skin irritation issue I've been dealing with for a few years. Extremely glad to have found her. The team in her office have been great which included hearing a concern I raised and addressing it quickly and professionally. Thank you!
There’s a reason why Dr. Janet Vafaie is known to be the best in the dermatology space. I recently went to her office with an eyelid condition and had a great experience. She explained everything so that I could understand and made sure to take her time with me, addressing all of my concerns. The interaction I had with her felt very genuine, which, personally, is something I don’t often experience when visiting a new doctors office. They had the best value options in any dermatology clinic I had visited and now I will only be going to her in the future. I already see improvements with my condition and am very lucky to have chosen Dr. Vafaie over anyone else. I definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to see a dermatologist.
She is the absolute BEST! Went here with horrible skin (I wish I had pictures but I didn’t even take any during that time) and I got just one product by Janet Vafaie that she recommended and it got rid of it so fast! Always a quick in and out here, never worried about waiting around!
