I have shopped at Dragonfly for at least 30 years. Today, the owner of Dragonfly was rude and disrespectful. She mocked my comment on the change in her store, made fun of my lack of memory in an insolent, impolite tone. I am astounded that she has been in business so long. She would have been significantly more successful if she had customer service skills. I will not be returning and will spread the word that she and her store should be avoided.
My favorite dresses are from Dragonfly. Owner and staff are all friendly and helpful. They remember my name and style! Great selection of gifts and greeting cards too!
One staff member (the older one) was rude and snarky as someone else mentioned in a previous review.The employee made a rude comment about my husband to another person in the store.I won’t be back. There are better gift shops in Boise anyhow! I’m adding to this review since YOU the owner responded! You obviously knew you were being rude. My husband was fine with being told that the Lounge was off limits. It was the tone you used and the comment you made to another person about my husband afterwards that got to us.I’m honestly shocked that you are the owner. You had a fowl and cold look on your face the whole time we were there.
This store has a great selection of clothing, gifts, and so much more! I really liked what they sold here and it was a treat to look at all of the fun clothing and gifts they had offered here, the only comment I'd have that isn't extremely positive is that I noticed the sales people have a really low trust for their newer customers. I noticed them seem to be really suspicious of me shoplifting, so I assume they have had a lot of issues with it in the past. They wouldn't let me carry anything independently that I picked up for longer than 30 seconds before asking me if I wanted to put it in the fitting room to try it on later or put it at the front counter to hold it while I shopped. I eventually started asking the sales people myself if they would like me to put my items I chose to get up front while I shopped. While I was trying my 3 items on in the fitting room, I couldn't have been alone for longer than 5 minutes before someone came by and asked me if everything was going okay from outside the fitting room, which I found odd, but its understandable if they have had issues in the past and show distrust in new customers because of that. I do think they should go about it differently, but I also understand where they might be coming from. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the store. Thank you! I really enjoyed the items I purchased here! Edit: I went back after the reply by the business and had a better experience and it didn't feel as uncomfortable and I didn't get interrupted while in the fitting room. Thank you for responding to my review and for the better experience after I voiced some of my concerns here! I appreciate the growth mindset.
Such a gifted boutique of wonderful gifts. Discovered this gem many years ago while walking during lunch times with my friends🌱🥰 People there are amazing with passion to help you.
